I deleted my previous post. Because it was very wrong. About what I said was going to happen. I'm testing the graphs of FxPro, XM, Pepperstone, FXCM and Forex.com. And only FXCM EURDemo agrees in the daily chart with Forex.com on EMA / ROMAR to cross, taking both now as support.

I had to call it a night and closed my long trade earlier than I would have liked. I would have left it open but that big retrace bar, which I realized this morning had went back up to close at the open, worried me and I do not think its a good habit to leave open trades when you can't monitor then. I was wondering if someone could shed some light on a question I have. In doves first posts he stated we are trading a two hour bar that is moving and we have two hours to trade it...of course in a strong trend we could ride it out but is it for the most part just the two hour bar and since he said "moving" as well I'm guessing we wait to see it move in our direction first and then jump on for the ride. Any input greatly appreciated.

Now that there is a new top with magenta dash, and green dash-dot, there should be some retraction at some point of one of the resistors

I held a long position and picked up some pips. All indicators still show the uptrend on my charts, at least the way Im reading them. Im long again. We must be mechanical like robots, trading a system of signs and indicators. No emotions involved. It is much freer that way. ROMAR is below ema on all charts. Daily and h2 have horsemen climbing. I'm going to stay in my new long position until purple crosses the other horsemen and/or ema, and ema crosses ROMAR.

I'm guessing that with the U.S. election tonight forex in general will be very unstable. I'm staying out.

Good Morning
I believed in the retraction after the fixed divergence in the top candle daily and got my 40 pips. Another opportunity was when I accessed the micro at 6:00 am to enter long at 08:00. As ROMAR \ EMA were still support the return would be automatic "this is the teaching" but then I was afraid of not happening and I did not, and I would be greedy too.

I researched about the difference in the daily charts and found that is due to forex.com serves be GMT and broker with that timeoffset Soler have 6 candle per week. So there's the candle of Sunday with 4 hours. The other brokers have GMT +2 or 3 that makes the candle dialy of these brokers start 17:00 est causing tensions resulting from unclear calculations of significant values. I'm writing this because I don't really know anything about forex. I don't have live account and no idea on which one should I use in the future. And Someone maybe have this doubt. I am using a translator. If anything in this post is wrong please let me know that I delete

Hello,

I've been following this thread for some time & have read all of it. Guess what, I have a question:

In #21 page 2 D.A. writes: " Now when the alert goes off for the market crossing EMA............."

However in the daily chart in #20 page 1 only the first red arrow shows the price crossing the EMA, the subsequent red & two green arrows do not have a crossing of the EMA in line with them.

I gotta hand it to manin011 for trading during a historical news U.S. election event. This risk for serious slippage way past your stop woulda been way to much of a risk for me and I think maybe a news trading strategy might have been more suitable. I'm not an experienced trader but my novice suggestion would be if your gonna trade during these times that you may eventually get seriously burnt trading the paradox during world events. I could be entirely wrong. This news event did not show up for eurjpy and only for USD in the economic calendar.

Can anyone shed some light on this. I recall somewhere in this thread the order of the ema and macd arrows. I've been noticing that when the ema arrow hits and then the macd shows and sets in stone the market often goes sideways for at least a few bars until the parabolic sets as well. Many times a big part of the move happens right when the macd is turning off and on before the parabolic is set. I also notice that when ema appears, then parabolic, then macd its seems to be a more stable setup for the trend continuation. Here's my question. Whats the best order of events for the indicator arrows and parabolic. I know some of you more paradox experienced members will know. Whether or not you tell is a different story lol. Here's a shot of the sideways move after macd arrow locks. And it happens a lot.

Your exactly right. It's pure stupidity trading on a day like that, and anyone that does will eventually lose their account through greed.

I thought I would share something really neat about the paradox system and this is not meant to distract traders from learning it. Dove's db long term swing indicators draw harmonic patterns. Just a really cool thing to see if you zoom out a little and again do not let this distract you from trading the paradox properly. They are two different styles of trading. Confirmation of an awesome system to see these powerful patterns that are being drawn as we trade the paradox.

MT4 charts will display daily and 4-hour candles differently depending on the server time. That's because daily charts (and 4-hours charts) begin at midnight server time.

For example, FXCM's MT4 servers are divided into those set to GMT, and those set to GMT+2/3. While our EUR and GBP denominated servers are set to GMT, our USD and AUD servers are set to GMT+2 currently (they were set to GMT+3 when the US was on Daylight Savings Time which ended November 6th).

The GMT+2 setting means that midnight on these MT4 servers corresponds to 5pm New York Time which is the end of the 24 hour trading day in the forex market. Therefore MT4 servers set to GMT+2 have "New York Close" charts which result in five 24-hour daily candles per week.

By contrast, MT4 servers set to GMT will have 6 daily candles per week. The Sunday candle will be only 2 hours long and the Friday candle will be 22 hours long. The four other candles are 24 hours long.

Thank you for the excellent explanation. I would like to add that my intention to raise this fact to those still using a broker demo account with GMT +2 \ 3 will have difficulty because the system needs 6 candle per week, and this is proven on page 224 post 4,480

I'm also gmt +2/3 and have noticed my charts not lining up with others. Why does the system need 6 weekly candles. I would think 5 24 hour full candles would be more accurate but have no idea.
