Unfortunately unless you are able to properly read price action against levels with correct risk reward its going to be a painful experience. Most newbies are hoping for an indi to find the light. i finally realised pasr + rr is the only way, indis are secondry imo.

Hi Mehdi,

Would you mind to share us the stochastic with slope and it setting. it look like a good indicator to observe the change in the direction of stochastic.

Great thanks!

Hi All--

First post. Trading only demo currently. Read the entire thread.

Following Mendhi on D1 and H4 (and Moonie on H1). My only change to Mendi H4 is I set stop loss to below/above last swing and target what makes sense based on resistance and round numbers but at least 1:1.5. I will use discretion on profit taking as bars develop (for daily and H4). For the H1 I'm trying to strictly follow Moonie's rules.

A couple H4 trades I just entered (9:00 EST) are pictured below (or attached...not sure how to upload yet). The AUDNZD trade is less desirable due to round number and support blocking profit target. Comments welcome.

Many of you asked about R:R. First you should consider your lot size. I am not going to limit my profit just because it is some percents of my SL. I will close when signal tell me. some times it is negative R:R and usually it is 4 or 5 times more than SL. As this system is against the popular rules of stoch ( overbought-over sell) , the R:R ratio is also different with common methods. When you have a powerfull system, you can do this. When profit factor is above 2.5 you can do this. If you still think you cannot find positions easilly from stoch and tdi, then use trend lines. Yesterday 2h USDCHF is a good example for you.
Good luck all!!!!

Do not try to match the chart with rules. If it is a good signal , open . If not pass that . It will give you enough pips weekly, then do not trade risky charts when you do not see strong signals. Keep in mind that there are always (80%) enough pips to hunt . How much? At least 400-500 pips weekly. So there is no reason for risky trades.
Trust me, if you follow the rules, you can double your account in 3-5 months. do not make your graph noisy  with many indicators.
Educate well and then earn well.

And my friendy comment to you: use journal trading logbook and write your mistakes and feeling before and after trades! add graphs and later analyze them. Why win or lose? Try to improve your skill by this simple method.

For me , it is not strong. Why? After an up trend , i need a very strong signal. Stoch shows me that it is not enough strong. Tdi shows me that the angle is not also good. I have to wait till the upward trend line is broken.

I just entered in Audcad and Audusd BUY positions on daily- The vertical red lines indicate where the crosses occured.

Both looked strong to begin with as both crosses were upwards..

Closed Audcad for -40 and Audusd for -40 also.. What went wrong?

If you look at the today's news, we had Red news for AUD and it was bad news for AUD which caused down trend for those positions. This is very simple reason! Take care of news!

hello mr mehdi first and foremost i want to thank you for your great system. its simple, easy and like you said its totally stress free. you're genius for creating this system. you are right it is very simple some people want to make it complicated but they don't know the secret behind this strategy is its simplicity. like they say simplicity is the ultimate of sophistication.
i want to ask you a couple of questions. pleas if you had time answer me:
1-when you're in a profitable trade but you have a red news coming up do you stop all operation and will you get out of the trade?

2- what do you mean by tdi going flat? what is your definition of going flat? do you mean when the two green and read line touch each like the example in the picture or you mean something else pleas if you can explain it with pictures

again thank you so much for the great system you have provided us with.

Hi Mehdi,

I re-entered those trades again- they are looking better now.. the cross is still valid and both are above the 200sma

IN my opinion it is best to wait until the close of the next day to see if tdi is flat or not or if you should exit or not.

Are you in these too?
