How often do you rest your eyes ? any extra tips also appreciated.

Dim the BG light of the monitor.

Make the room darker during the day.

Make sure you have warm lights installed in the room (3700K tops) for the night. Make sure none of these lights are in the direction of your monitor. Left/right/behind is OK.

There are eye drops that help with the eye lubricity and calm down irritated eyes and prevent the "sand in the eye" feeling. I could give you a couple of names but I doubt they are the same in your neck of the woods so just ask at the pharmacy.

Last but not least...take brakes from the monitor.

I always wear sun glasses in front of the pc screen (sometimes also in front of the tv set).
Black background for charts and gray for the office package
