In this thread i will be making updates on the area of news trading. Most the trading will be done on the High Impact News.
I have been making videos on News trade as a side project, Instead of inserting these video into other regular trading thread, I decide to open a new thread that is dedicated to news trading.

Feel free to join me have fun on trading the major news release.

AUD data coming up in less than 60 minutes.
ECB confrence coming up in a little more than 12 hours.

Will be looking at the $AUDUSD and $EURAUD on 0.7750 and 1.4200 level.

Normally, I don't trade News on the Sydney session because it lacks market liquidity and pip moves, unlike the Japanese or London session.

Darn. Almost snapped 195 pips from EUR/AUD but it gone up so fast...

Its hard to make $ on news, I'm sad right now. Anyway, it gone up like 760 pips on EUR/AUD.

I don't think this ECB release would be hawkish... it won't have any impact either.

I am calling my day. Almost 4 AM here.

In the future, I will be posting the schedule on what I am going to trade a week in advance. This way it's easier for everyone to get on the same page in terms of research and trade related preparation.

The ECB meeting pretty much went down 180+ pips and stopped at 90-100 pips between 1.09759, here's a picture of it on M1 Line chart

if for example you are intending to trade a news release of a particular currency thats has two news release at thesame day and same time eg USD news on CPI and USD NEWS RELEASE ON interest rate both are high impact news , one of the news release is positive or better than forcast and the other turn out to be worst than forcast .how do trade such news outcome for this currency in terms of price direction ?

For me, I haven't traded any double news release on the same time (say 8:30 AM) for quite sometime, at least 4 months ago. Although just back in October 7 I traded EU's release on NFP and it went up for almost 254 pips, while USDCAD went down for 800 pips, it was the same time those two nations announced their Unemployment Data.

This, however, doesn't affect your trading strategy. If bad data come out with good data, it won't change how your strategy reacts and it won't be wrong. If, you had a chance to trade one release on a different currency pair, such as EU, that would be better since you're minimizing your risk trading dangerous news.
