short usd is ok if usd is going down.
short can is ok if can is going down ,
these should be the stance.
crystal balls i no have.
the other type i have 2 in the sack.

just to point you in the right thinking direction, there are no hard and fast rules to ro3k, what you are seeing is how each country's currency is reacting to each other and mainly the tearing indicates fundamental shifts. if you started out learning this method in 2007-8 you will probably see a different story to now, you would see more if you started from back then, which is 2016 and 2015, because the rate hike and all is causing a dormant usd for the most part and brexit and oil is causing major tearing in the ro3k. so if you prefer, use the search button on this thread with the keywords ro3k and then see the example pictures back then, compare it to now, the picture is really different, gbpusd and usdcad used to not be so correlated, in that their strength in correlation was not really there, but now brexit came about, usdcad correlations kicked in full blown. usdjpy used to be in relation to eurusd and gbpusd, but now seems like usdjpy is mainly the follower of usd, while eurusd and gbpusd with their domestic problems, can tear on their own, without warning.
the organization of the ro3k, the reserve currency, usd, the majors, eur gbp and jpy, then chf, then the commodities, aud nzd and cad, then the other exotics, which is really too many to name.
for primary analysis, you can use the major 8 currency's pairs affect each other the most as they are the biggest economies around.
just to help you along, think about this question. this should check if you have an understanding of ro3k.

what is the significance of this information? how would it manifest on the charts? and how would their pairs move? so if the commodities pairs nzdusd, usdcad are moving strong usd, but audusd is holding and what would that indicate? is it either its late? or is it something else happening on aud front? or both? how to differentiate?

I understand it might be a rush and you want to read the first 200 pages that everyone pointed you to, however, like what Cookie have mentioned, the pages beyond 200 are worth as much as the 200 pages itself. Just FYI, I have read the first 200 pages more then twice, and every time I read it, i find something new. So, do not rush it.
And if I could, do let me gently remind you that you are not finding a needle or a holy grail here. Hence you will not find much data that explicit telling "do this do that".
The purpose of the writing that FTI have done is for us to figure out ourselves when we walked the journey. And to bump us along.

Have you watched the show "romance of the 3 kingdom"? there is much lesson there too.
bascially, in short, its the 3 markets in a romantic relationship, but USD is at the centre of them.

Why not set up some charts and learn from market by watching and doing (in demo at first) - look at the news and how they all move - who is strong - who is weak in today's environment (things can and will change tho). While you read watch, do and learn... but watch a few charts add eurgbp and eurjpy or whatever makes sense - what can you learn from the charts - watch them and market will teach you. Review RoK at end of your session - what did it tell you if anything what use was it - look at the charts not just 1 or 2.
Learning is hard and takes time and effort so good luck with it.
