This is a table of all swing levels I published here or in my fb. All swings had different SL (in pips) but I risked the SAME amount of $$$ on EVERY trade. This is important and you should do it too.

Both UJ & UC turned a few pips ahead of the level, I'll consider both of those "spent" and therefore avoided the UJ & will do the same should UC get up to the level. Be interested to know if you did the same Dale or if the futures price actually did reach the level at first time of asking. Cheers Ziggy

I took the usd/jpy. It turned 6 tics before and I don't consider this a proper "test" so ok to take it. When it was +9 pips I moved my SL to secure the position. Wise move it seems. Usd/cad turned 3 pips before and made 25 pips reaction. This I consider a proper test. I didn't trade it anymore.

Thanks Dale. EUR is targeting 1.09xxx levels from my point of view and later today is FOMC meeting. I think the best way to trade these levels is to wait the price to reach them, but, if there was a target from the levels you are missing (I suppose more data) where would it be, more simple, where is targeting now that is bearish?

I am not sure I understand. If you ask where to target short trades other than 10 pips...
I would be more conservative and still go for 10 pips. When market is in it's lows there can be surprise strong up moves. Why? because every retail trader see that eur is going down and big guys want to catch retail SL orders.
BUT if there was a not agressive retracement to my levels and the low of the day was not strong (lets say not a pinbar or something simillar), then you may consider trailing 2nd half of the position for more than 10 pips. Trailing where? I dont know now because I need to see what the market does when it reaches my level.
