Each time you open mt4, open the renko indi as if you will edit it. Then click ok. It should reset your offline renko chart.

Or there are some good commercial versions out there which you can easily find with google (if not previously mentioned in the thread).

Guys, I remember browsing through Dee's compiled posts, he mentioned a thread. He said that he traded similar to the OP of the thread. Anyway, I went through the PDFs but could not find the link. It was a thread about HHs and LLs with MAs. Any chance that you guys know which thread was that?

Repainting for running bar is unavoided, but theres a little trick to reduce repainting issues. Just set a treshold, just make movement below predetermine pips wont current change value. Maybe in renko is to set it if price change below renko range + 2(treshold) it wont draw new bar for running bar.

Sorry not to be precise, i dont use renko but just trying to share how i do it on similar case. Cheers!

Just ended with JJRVAT attached PDF, I started reading that with fear of distraction out of Dees style on which I am focused a couple months actually, BUT now I am happy I passed throught the whole PDF because there was nothing new what we could not see before mentioned by Dee, or Philippine on his actual pics, too.

The idea of JJRVAT trading is simple, same as a Dees idea - HL/HH, LH/LL, but not every HL or LH is good for entry, just wait for the real pull back which you can recognize by Fibonacci retracement, S/R, BRN, Divergences. THAT IS ALL, REALLY !

Now you will agree with me if I write, that every of Dee posts was/is about this one simple thing. Just read JJRVAT PDF, first 2 pages and that is it, 2 pages of gold and 97 pages of sauce.

BBalazs, btw thank you for remind that file (just spotted that we have new emojis there, the old ones were better, but OK it reminds me that things change, same as my trading results should... )

Dipped my toes into this thread just last yesterday. Thanks to all the regulars here for keeping this awesome thread alive!
I really love the idea of scalping the Dax with renko charts in a similar vein to PhilippineFX. Took my first ever renko trade just now:

I actually think the the whole PDF is worth a read. The first 2 pages are a sort of summary of the content, although the way jjvrat explains how little it matters which indicators you use as your entry signal as long as you analyze structure first is pretty interesting.

Here we just called that a 5 pip renco...are you on Meta 4???.....can you drag your completed trades on the chart??

Dax 30.....Unable to trade yesterdays sweet move up to resistance at 10,650. Took this Scalp for +9 as the Renco 3 was oscillating[stochs] nicely to the upside......the easy middle.......

Second day on the horse. It's been a fun ride. 4 trades from me today.. 2 losses and 2 wins for a total gain of 3.71R.

Hi Liquidity, sorry to be lazy and not read but yesterday I spent like 2 hours trying to learn how to install the renko and at the end it was to damn easy... so I don't read anymore. I wanted to know what are the entry and exit rules

In these thread are not any entry and exit rules, only probabilities and discrete approach. So you have to read more.. if I can advise you, click on the attached files and download all of 5 Dees PDFs, 1 PDF = 1 day (4 hours) reading. So only the 1 week to learn something what somebody else was learning years, I think it is very fair. Do not get this wrong, I want only let you know, this is the way which got me to the "next level".
