My trading week now finished, stumbled on this thread a few days back when sitting on my hands waiting for my own trades to set up and am really pleased I did. I know there are some guys on FF who are great traders but have never really followed them or just can't bring myself to load up with indicators, but when I saw this thread I really liked the way the levels were set & I like the waiting for price to come to me. I'd love to be able to find the levels myself but given that I don't have that skill I'm more than happy to accept TD's generosity. Big thanks to TD .

I've been late to the party on the swing trades, hopefully I've now set up so that my e-mail pings when Dale posts and I'll be venturing into those as well. I generally have only been trading the DAX & so for long periods sit on my hands, having other instruments to get involved with will I hope remove all temptation to look for Dax trades when none really exist.

Apologies for the ignorance. Can I ask how you set it up so that you get a ping when Dale posts? Is is simply subscribing to Dale or is anything further required? Many thanks for input.

Great job with all three longer term trades, I am watching price action with you the last days and some ideas much with mine. I didn't took any trade, because of NFP, but from Monday I hope you will keep posting these set-ups.

Hi Azk

I can't be sure it's worked until I get an e-mail, and it may already be set up for you. I went into my "account", clicked on settings and ticked the instant e-mail box as per this screen shot.

HI TD & followers,
I have read thru this thread 3 times & am very impressed. Like many others, I'd like to "learn more" and not just follow, but for now will follow to build my account, and look forward to Sunday/Monday posting by TD. I have also ran down a couple of rabbit holes in trying to learn more about Market Profile, volume as it correlates to S/R and Pivot Levels. Hopefully I'll come out of there a better trader.
HappyMe...thanks for the indicator....WOW!! that's a lot of lines...how to glean which ones have more bearing on forecasting market movement.

TD, I know it takes personal to post and share, and I do appreciate the insight you've given us. Keep up the great work!

I think it give good clue....
I check with AUDUSD - http://www.myfxbook.com/commitments-of-traders/aud

Large speculators and small speculators goes together while commercial goes/balance other side.

similarly

Assets and Leverage goes together while Dealers goes/balance other side.

 

  1. Dealer/Intermediary - include large banks (both US and non US) and dealers in swaps, securities and other derivatives.
  2. Asset Manager/Institutional - include pension funds, insurance companies etc'.
  3. Leveraged Funds - include hedge funds and money managers such as CTAs (registered commodity trading advisors) and CPOs (registered commodity pool operators) or unregistered funds as identified by the CFTC.

but this gives weekly data if its give daily data would be much useful.

Good morning everyone, haven't seen TD post yet, but am trying to employ some of his ideas on my demo account to see if even the ever-volatile, never-dependent (haha) Sunday evening/Monday morning market will come even close. I'll keep you posted.

I am thinking of scalping AUDUSD in taking AU short at each of its 5min chart's swing high......
Thinking AU going down.....

Do you have any thought of AU direction?
