I did exactly the same thing, however I simplified it even further, by going naked and using only two lines, then never taking it off the H1 chart until I had watched price move back and forward over those lines for a while. Then I would drop it to the m15 to practice entry. I totally get how you're thinking on that. This is what I used to open my mind:

These have been ingrained as mental loops that can be positive (I like to exercise) or negative (I will never find true love). They can be constructive (I should spend money responsibly) or destructive (I would be happier if I had a drink).

The best way of debugging these negative loops is to look at the quality of your life, more specifically for areas of pain.
