unfortunately i can't read the previous 2796 pages...

From experience what i can tell is that some markets / timeframes follows some indicators more than others.

Obviously not all timeframes will be 'curve fittable' with your favourite indicator.

But sometimes some timeframes from a given pair might be "predictable" with very good odds for profit, in order to achieve that wisdom you have to work and study pretty hard. i mean hard, and by studying i don't mean watching tons of videos with superficial information.

Understand the indicators and go deep on them.

It's not like you will go for a TA course or watch a couple of Youtube tutorials and you come home and make a reliable buy/sell signal from an indicator.

It's hard work, but it's worth.

Once you have managed to do it and your backtest ( backtests are another topic! hard to make them reliable! ) you will feel sweat dripping from your armpits like a storm.

If you never backtested your TA ideas, then yeah, surely it will never work for you ( ;

In short: People that say TA doesn't work either don't understand TA or didn't study the markets enough, there are always exceptions and "specials"

Thank you for your posting and sharing your thought with us. If you have come with an advice quoted above, then you are very welcome to just read at least some 10 - 50 pages at the beginning of the Thread (basics are first 200 - 250 pages). There you will see the crux 3 pillars: You (Your Mindset), Capitalisation and Market Knowledge. TA background is just a part of the latter. Your hard working indicator using idea has already and at large been discussed as well as experienced by many. Must therefore agree that Yes - TA works (about 50/50), and admit that owing to FTI I do use the three indicators: Y, C, M.

Otherwise, how long are you in the markets? More than 10 - 12 years of hard working? Why I am personally asking - please have a look over my posts here (not much yet).

I know there are good people in this thread.

But think about it HE is selling something probably so much sweat and tears back testing and even no have time to read first few pages?!! Why he is here?

yes many monkeys use Indicators, therefore I want to see indikators ... but I use tunnel thru the air for monkeys money ...

ahhhh my friends,
no worrys pls.

i am good.
Just developed lots gas, for unknown reasons.
I still wondering where comes the gas.
And gas prices not so hot these days.

i will take some more rest.
You peeps enjoy trading markets and trading some knowledge.
Don't worry about me.
Although this my thread, There's a bunch of you good peeps makes lots money and have lots fun.
If you worry about me then i need find more energy keep up with you chappys.
Just go on help each other out, i will be back have party when i recovers from this gas ordeal.
