Natural gas has been on a run as well recently. Up over $3 now. Higher demand for gas as winter comes around for heating.

Today is an historic day.
Today marks the first export, I believe, of shale gas from the USA destined for the UK.
Definitely it is the first import of shale gas into the UK from the USA.
Shipments are expected to occur weekly.

Could be the end of North Sea oil.

I can't see how the North Sea, with fields generally becoming more expensive, and technologies which are bottle necked in reducing costs can survive longer term.

UK has Shale deposit but they are close to major centers of population in many cases.

Though there could be a huge conventional oil field outside of Gatwick estimated as having over $100 billion barrels of oil, that too might be put on hold because of its location and the impact on the environment.

Well, it looks as though short-oil is the play into the year-end....

"Analysts at Goldman Sachs cut their forecast for the price of oil at the tail-end of 2016 following upside surprises on the production side and after greater clarity on the delivery of new projects revealed an unexpected glut was on the cards.

Oil supply would exceed demand by 400,000 barrels a day in the final three months of the year, instead of falling short by 300,000 as Goldman had previously estimated.

Hence, the broker said the price of crude oil in the fourth quarter of 2016 would be at $43 a barrel, versus a prior projection of $50."

So OPEC made a deal after all those claims that this is an informal deal, a non decision making deal and what not. Contents of the deal still need to be made public for this move up to consolidate but I doubt we will see the below 44 for a long time.

Let's see if we tank back down to 46 from here or see another pop that brings us back up above $50 again. Previous range was roughly $44-48. Either we are at top or about to bust out of it this week

USOIL Short on a 5th wave v of Ending Diagonal for a R/R >5, with target at least 38.56 & SL above b.
Note: A multi-months impulse wave (c) white since February 2016 low is in progress.
