Well an interesting day, went long EJ but missed the bottom and then realised I had missed it and jumped in but another lesson learned for looking. Then a day full of news and ej bounced around until ny time and then it started to look pretty dismal, but then uj spiked in to pivot and didnt affect ej then everything turned around and flew up hitting the bc target and uj pivs at the same time. Fascinating day but a long one lol

Hey Dennis, I've been following the thread since day 1, and am eager to learn. I am just confused over IB range. In the following picture you posted it shows IB as from NYC close to first hour of TKY open correct? And then you use that entire range for the Asian --> Lo --> NY sessions, is this correct?

I'm not so sure about that diagram - didn't makes sense to me either. Initial balance is a market profile concept that refers to the first hour of trading in a market session.

... it is Overnight Range from NYC to TKO and IB the first two 30 min of the session (NYO) - "240 Bar Code Part 1.pdf"

Also, on 4th of September, at post 304, you posted short youtube video 1st part and you said 2nd part will be posted later. Have I missed the second one or you will be still posting it?

Hi your Correct, I am a pivot purist so I use eastern on IB. However there are inside day IB from session to Session. Not that I take note of all of them. However on sideways days they become clues to capture the break away play. As we were inside Initial Range until Asia the gap UP AND THE ENTRY WAS THE FADE BACK IR.

I will rip & dip the chart so those who do not under stand gaps (Not un-filled blocks) will see how we time the market order entries on the pivots/on the fade that completes the inner gap.

Hi Dennis,

EU has respected the NFP as you previously mentioned. UJ has not.
Does this only usually apply to EU? ... and what is the reason and logic that causes this when it does occur?
