Closed GBP/USD at 1.3171 and took 200 pips risking 45 pips Nice winner and very well planned setup. USD/JPY is still active buy position from 101.72 with target at 103.30.

Hello traders,
Target met on USD/JPY at 103.30. Another nice winner and +155 pips risking 40. The price respected POC and it was a well-planned trade. Now, I don't have any position and will watch news tomorrow.

This week I took on GBP/USD 200 pips and on USD/JPY +155 pips which is total of 355 pips or +5% on account with original 1% risk on setup.

Hello traders,
Since I finished trading for this week I just watched news and reactions today and wanted to share 2 charts with you. After I managed to take 200 pips on GBP/USD yesterday, this currency pair found balance area (point of control) at 1.3190. I don't expect this week much from GBP/USD. From the other side there is POC at 1.3270. Most of smart investors exited their selling positions and they wait next week for new opportunities and FED Funds rate . We got interest rate decision in GB unchanged at 0.25% with potential hint that we may see further cut rate this year. Retails sales today came out -0.2% vs -0.4% but according to previous 1.9% this is bad. This currency pair is neutral to bearish.

USD/JPY doing good respecting POC levels. Strong rejection (after the US news) from POC at 101.90. I don't have any position but we may see re-test of 103.30 or 103.80.

It looks like market makers (MM) ignored fundamental data today ( Michigan, bad news)...No impact on USD at all...They decided what to do regardless of data.
----
2pmEST USD still going up like crazy...no news, market probably motivated by coming events next week...etc.

Ignored fundamental ? Today we got CPI m/m 0.2% vs 0.1% prev. 0.0% and USD Core CPI m/m 0.3% vs 0.2% prev 0.1%. Pretty good readings and that just boosted USD.

Right. I was talking about this one:

USA is consumer oriented and income depends on consumer spending...Many times in past market rally or drop on this data...this time they ignored it...because it did not fit in their plan for upcoming events next week...

Ruma, you need to learn basics and then advanced about fundamental readings. My advice is to start my mentorship program where I can teach you how to read fundamentals, collect new information's and create market sentiment and then position using technical. First of all, CPI is one of the most watched economic indicators .
The CPI, also known as the cost of living index, measures the cost of eight specific consumer expenditure groups. This information is then used to determine whether the inflation rate is rising or falling. Good readings just before Federal fund rate decision is very good for potential rate hike and news traders sold. This was the key economic event today.

Prelim UoM Consumer Sentiment is much less important then CPI and it came out same like previous and missed a little of expectation. I won't speak even that is just prelim and not revised version.

Never give up, because the path of successful trading is not eaasy but once you achieve then you will enjoy for rest of your life trading and earning money. Fundamental analysis takes time to learn but its all about your will to learn.

Hello traders,
Sorry that I didnt post this week cause i was very busy with my own trading and projects. After the FED fund rate decision and BOJ meeting, I found room for interesting setups. USD/JPY is interesting today. Yesterday I found 2 POC levels. Asia + Europe ses. POC at 101.65 and US ses. POC at the price of 100.70. Today on Europe sesion I found strength and broken US poc from yestrday. I am expecting at least testing of key POC level at 101.65 and depend of the price action maybe even higher.
Yesterday FED fund rate came as like expected, so USD is still strong in my opinion. The news traders did their job yesterday and now smart money acting.

Got small buying position on USD/JPY >

Still holding long on USD/JPY from yesterday. TP near 101.60.

Hello dear traders,
After the Kuroda speach today and meeting last weeek. I found that that The Bank of Japan basically didn’t announce additional easing last week, and the initial reaction was a strengthening of the yen. Today, I found strong selling tail from Europe ses., which is sign that we may see lower price. I sold EUR/JPY at the price of 112.94 and my target is at 112.35. Risk is about 20 pips.


I found strong rejection from POC in the background.

Interesting profile on the EUR/USD.I found selling tail on Europe ses. and also strong supply on US ses. I am bearish today on EUR/USD from 1.1218.

I found today opportunity on EUR/JPY. I am bearish from 112.90. I found strong POC zone at 113.00 also round number. Once I saw that sellers came in i jumped into sell position. TP level is around 112.30.

I transfered from EUR/JPY selling into EUR/USD buying since there is a very good buying opportunity on EUR/USD for 30-50 pips.
I plan to be in this position 2-4 hours since the setup is based on M5.


In this example I used Ichimoku on M5 and broken bullish flag.
