Brain surgery is a consistent way of making money only for properly educated, knowledgeable and experienced brain surgeons. Trading is no different. Like any other profession though. Also yet to see a random market. Have no idea how it might look like.

what a bs ... pretty much like stating that the laws of physics generally work except for times when the nature is random...
also that a trader's inability to understand the market requires insisting on the wrong view until his luck turns around...

If market is random it would be chaos in all financial markets. In fact it is 100% perfectly organized. It is same logic of supply and demand to create charts in any time frame in any market.

Those that blame randomness for losing are truly lost.
Those that claim to profit from a random market are lying and know that markets are not random.
Those that believe they can profit from a random market are just foolish.
Though the journey is long and difficult, those who seek understanding of the market will become wise.

May we have your definition of RANDOM? Can you illustrate randomness on the Monthly, weekly, Daily 4 hourly, hourly up to 1 minute charts and I will burst your bubble.
If the markets were random at all then they'd be utterly untradeable.
For instance if an asset or instrument were to start at price of 123.008 the next logical price would be either 123.007 or 123.009. this is what happens 90% of the time (I say 90 just to be safe).
The only time Price is random is when the Central Banks and big sharks move the markets, when prices spike, your pending orders are slipped for worse or more favorable prices, your stop losses are ignored and you are margin called because there was no bid or ask at those prices you requested.

Being a prop firm trader you may have other insights as to how price moves, please cure my ignorance.

Markets are well organized and controlled in 90% of the time, the other 10%s are for global events, let's say, wars, floods and so on, third powers, unexpectedly involving new parameters into markets. Markets have structures; yeah, different markets have different structures, but each market has the controlled structure - its range, behaviour, BBs in agreement and so on.

Thats what I was saying earlier. People dont understand why an asset price moves as they dont know how its valued and then just assume its random.
It would make the FX market the only auction market in the world where the main players are buying and selling for no reason.
