New levels of supply are needed to short monthly supply on NZD/USD since monthly is out of alignment for shorts now, weekly is also in an uptrend with Weekly demand imbalance in control. Aggressive long bias.

GBPUSD is not doing much at the moment. There is a clear short bias with monthly and weekly in a downtrend. Shorts higher at Daily supply level around 1.47 or new supply zones at weekly 20 EMA or higher if it falls short of retracing to entry. Now Daily supply is tested a new fresh levels are needed for shorts.

Monthly and weekly downtrend on USDJPY. New areas of supply formed. Price fell short of retracing to that tiny H4 supply levels, supply higher, short bias.

GBPUSD clearly ranging on the Daily, WK 20 right above the used-up daily supply level. Confirmation needed for shorts, bigger picture downtrend, short bias.

Brent UKOIL has a new H4 supply created after breaking bullish H4 trendline and eliminating H4 demand. Price fell short of retracing to H4 supply nested at valid D1 supply zone that is already playing out on Brent. Too high in the Weekly and monthly curve, bigger timeframes in control, no longs.
Short bias at H4 supply zone or new supply zones created on the way down.

SunTV Indian Stock stock analysis supply and demand analysis. Now it's just too high with monthly supply in control. Daily longs have already happened at Daily demand, which is already used up. Potential aggressive longs could happen if Daily supply is eliminated. Longs at weekly and monthly areas of demand lower. Counter shorts could happen on new levels of supply on the way down but not just now. Waiting. Have a great day

Daily supply level in jeopardy on EURNZD. Potential Daily demand being created. Weekly bearish trendline break could happen in the next days for longs with weekly out of alignment.

That Daily bullish engulf is removing profit margin. Daily supply level had a very poor departure, held one day and a new engulf was created. No shorts higher unless engulf is eliminated. Weekly demand in control, price could rally higher though. Waiting for long scenario.

USDMXN at all time highs, trying to break higher. H4 demand levels on the way up. Valid daily demand imbalance at 18.4111 but far from happening anytime soon, let's wait for all time highs to be broken and see what time of formation it makes, pin bar, bullish engulfing, etc.

Hello Alfonso!

I heard first of you teaching about SD a couple of years ago, but at that time I guess I wasn't mature enough yet to go into it. Recently I "rediscovered" your videos and this thread on FF and now I am trying to absorb everything as fast as I can. I was also glad that you use ForexTester (I think I bought it already several years ago). I think it is a very good tool to learn and also a good tool to show to others how you trade.

I appreciate your work!

To make a long story short, I have finished having my first run - backtesting EURJPY - along the lines (SD rules) you recommend from 2010 to 2016 and then I started testing GBPJPY meanwhile continuing to read the forum. I found that you are saying that 30-35 pips is your maximum stop loss. I was wondering is it for all pairs all the time? Back in 2010 and 2011 GBPJPY H4 very seldom creates SD zones of ~30 pips height, usually the zones are bigger. Even if I drill entries to H1 timeframe it is still hard to have a small zone enough. If I add spread and "wiggle" then the zone is usually bigger than 35 pips. What is your comment on that?

Hello my friend, glad to hear you have re-discovered my videos on supply and demand Hope they are helping you.

Regarding wiggle room, rules slightly changed so they could be applied to all instruments the same way. Wiggle rule must be 25% of the imbalance's width, ok? Not pips, but 25% of its width.

Thank you for your reply and being accepted as a friend! Yes, the videos and the thread are really helpful. I am following with the next question if that is alright.

My next ForexTester session after EURJPY was GBPJPY. And I had wonderful results for 2011 and 2012 (according to my standards wonderful), but after I read your reply about the change for the wiggle I took away my rule of 35 SL maximum (on H4 entries) and suddenly the performance for the year of 2013 went down.

So how do the determine what is the maximum SL we want to use on a certain instrument and timeframe?

Your wecome!! Stop Loss is always 25% of the width of the level as mentioned in my previous post, ALWAYS, on all timeframes and instruments Julius.

Thank you! I got that. What I didn't get - is there some kind of criteria for the stop loss that we can decide this stop is "too large" for a certain instrument and timeframe. Let's say we find the zone, we put SL at 25% of the level width, and we find out that SL is 120 pips for GBPJPY H4, do we still put an order there?
