I even have an example here in DEMO Account doubled my account in four days, but in a real account, it is not that easy.

I once read that the only difference between demo and real accounts is psychology (slippage aside). In a demo there is a lack of "fear and greed" and you are free of its constraints. So if you do well in demo but not real then your trading psychology needs work. It made sense to me then and still does. I often think they are stop hunting me and it's true they are hunting down levels but not me individually, I don't trade enough $$ for them to care I'm sure. I know this because I am live with several brokers and I always check against the other brokers to see if the same levels have been reach and all but once it has. I'm sure they wouldn't move the world wide market just to get to me personally

I've learnt to be nimble, it's the only way for me to avoid their SL deathray hunt.

Yesterdays trading conditions were good with nice technical moves. I managed to win 3* different 2:1 trades (2 accounts) and 1 loss which was taken by spread alone before falling over 100 pips (EN). I also missed a trade (AU) that I had been waiting for for a few days as it moved while I slept. I am expecting the conditions to remain good today for perhaps another win or two, though Draghi is the unknown. These are the conditions I refer to as confident- when the market moves in a technical way as expected.

It is nice when the market moves like this for a few weeks at a time and it is what I am hanging on to with this system. I am still trading the TE account though still a bit sloppily with not much management. If it burns I will start again. With a $200 start limit it is really only allowing a buffer zone of 1 level, perhaps 2 (though I am keeping the risk at $20 below $100) and that isn't enough room for the system to move. In the random test spreadsheet it could often fall 2 levels and sometimes 3 (rarely) before really lifting off. It's about having enough capital during quiet times to take advantage of good trading conditions. If I manage just one +3 net trade series from here I will be back to my starting balance.

As I have mentioned I am testing this system long term, as good trading conditions for extended periods don't happen every day or month for that matter and it's about being there for when they come along. That I am still in the game with the amount of losses I have had during the uncertainty of the markets is, I believe, a credit to the system. Once the Fed finally make up their mind and a few of the others can start making decisions; we could be in for a good trading year in 2016.

Will be back at it soon. Have been busy with life but trading on the side. No real progress with this system but I am still confident this MM method can work with time and planning.

I still don't have a lot of time but will post when I can. This is a Demo account I have opened for this system and will upload to the Trade Explorer.
This is GJ. Yen on holiday but the markets seem to be moving so I have traded the BO. The BO occurred earlier, had a nice pullback and now it's time to see if the bulls are interested in entering.

Not a good way to start the demo account but I have managed to BE on my live account this week. NFP week has always been an uphill battle for me and I'm sure if I didn't trade it at all my history would be a sight lot better... Anyways, I may choose to trade some long term charts but I am quite busy the next couple of weeks, see how it goes..

The spreadsheet looks good but the problem is that I have no idea where to input my trade results or is the spreadsheet just for reference only. Anybody care to explain how to use it pls?

Hi Eddie. The spreadsheet is only for an example of the R:R and chances of achieving the desired results. I use another sheet to record my data that then in turn is imported onto the other sheet in the example. It is still a working progress but when I have a template I will put it on the site.

I am still working with this system though my time this year has been a bit limited. I have started working within a daily chart however and if I have anything to report will post here.

I have started this system again and keen to make it work. Always running into time obstacles.

Currently still in the first step with 1x net 3 wins completed and currently at 2 net wins. If I manage to get the 3x net wins I will be able to up the ante onto the second step.

The last 3 net wins has been elusive so far and I am back to +1 net win.

My history for the account is thus.

I started well with:

win +3 Withdraw profits (I'm not actually using a second account at this stage (my spares are busy) but may set one up today). Returned to first deposit amount after +3:

I have just discovered an interesting little quirk in using one account rather than two. Normally when trading this system I aim for around 60-80 pips with a 30-40 stop loss because this is around the maximum leverage allows (actually I think I can go down to around 25 pips on the stop loss at 2:1 1:500 leverage). However having one account I can beef the lot size to almost to any level meaning if you wanted to scalp 10 pips for 5 stop loss you could actually manage it on this system.

And back up to +2 trades. A nice way to finish the week.

Ok, making progress. I am now at level 2 and plus some with my second +3 net trade run. I can now increase the deposit and begin trying for the next +3 run. I have about 12 attempts / deposits to try for it before dropping to the level below. Depending on how many tries it takes me on the way up I will need at least 2x +3 net trade runs to get to the next level (3).

In general what I found is that is hard to be always right.
The classic trading is you decide the direction of the trade, entry, SL and TP.
While setting the TP is easy. Usually 1:2 or 1:3.
Is hard to be contemporary right in direction, entry and SL.
Often I found that I'm right on direction and entry according to trading plan but price spikes hit the SL and continue on my direction.
For that reason this challenge is very very hard because you need to be right on ALL (direction, entry, SL and TP).
Maybe you will be the one that will finish the sequence.

Hey again Merka. You are right in that to try any system like this you will need to have a stable trading plan, it is tough.

This money manage system does in fact give you plenty of opportunities however. It is hard to find a 2:1 ratio trade, not surprising as I have to wait sometimes up to a few days for the right time to enter the market., however I only look at a few currencies as it keeps me updated on their movements and their "moods". Patience is one of the hardest lessons I have had to learn in this industry, beating myself with a phone book to make it sink in (at least it leaves no bruises) heh.

The money management system can also be broken down further for those that wanted to try it on 1:1 ratio trades. It would include a new step in the 3x net trades and take a little longer to accomplish but would still be rewarding.
