Thanks, well at least it's a FIFO for me as most of my trades are usually holding for days It's fun trading Dragon on M1.

Today's trade is again a "coincidence" - it flipped after hitting my FIFO target!!

Hey everyone!

Been a very long time since I have posted on this thread, but I have been checking in everyday and studying the posted charts. Unlike some of the others here, it has taken me a while to get my head around trading. However I have been constantly trading mini lots and i am finally up to 1 month without a loss.

I hope to now be able to share my charts more often, and hopefully pay back some of the help that I have received.

In regards to cigarguys changes to the dragon. So far I am in favor of them. I feel they have kept me out of some not so good trades/not so FIFO trades which I would have otherwise entered.

Here is my chart for tonight/this morning. Total of +5.6 pips.
Reasons for 1st trade -
- All EMAs heading up having just spread apart from being very close together.
- Less than a min before the big news there was a massive red volume candle which was stopped right on the 250 level, followed by a massive green volume candle on news. Waited for retrace and entered on break of news candle with noticeable volume.
- Trade didnt move as fast as I was expecting so exited for +2pips.
2nd trade -
- Retrace to EMAs follwed by two green high volume candles. Entered on break of previous high with volume. +3.6 pips.

I have no time to comment on each new traders posts as I am busy trading as well, so I encourage any experienced traders to feel free to jump in and help answer comments or questions......as Traders Helping Traders....

EU M5 FIFO Scalp +29 Risky news trade but as commented on the chart, I had enough confirmation for some quick pips....

I dusted off one of my old PVSRA charts with HA's just for a change. The blue MA is the 50 ema and the 200 ema shown as usual as I sometimes get bored looking at the same chart and like to exercise my observation muscles & skills by changing candles and ma's somewhat but still trade with PVSRA confirmations and no additional indicators.

A quick note; A couple of years back and prior to the current changes of our PVSRA indicators, the HA candles were included as a user input in the candle indicator. I think that I was probably the only scalper using the HA's on the old PVSRA thread with most being position traders. Later on, my scalping technique was noticed by some traders that did switch from our PVSRA candles to HA's.

My point being, each trader can use whatever works for them staying consistent with our PVSRA rules....Every now and then I like to switch around just to stay awake as looking at the monitors and same charts makes me sleepy...........:nerd:

For those new to Fibo trading as shown on skipper13's chart;

They work well with PVSRA as S & R and just illustrating that different visuals and t/f's can be helpful in identifying PVSRA entries.....

Current MADdash CSM but remember it has a short shelf life......And for heads up for pairs to stalk for PVSRA entries, not for trading decisions.......

Nice trade thedrrew i also like take some fifo break out, curious to know if you took this entry manually, sometimes difficult on acceleration, or did you prepared an OC for this be entry ?

New PVSRA Scalpers in answer to PM's,

Please keep in mind to use a simple analogy; Our indicators and templates are similar to using GPS to drive from point A to point B. No one can tell you that you must drive a specific color of car to drive from, for instance Los Angeles to New York and can only get there driving one route.

In keeping with a open minded philosophy to our PVSRA scalping and answering PM's related to this subject;

Our PVSRA scalping system has proven to work quite well but each trader may change candles or colors as they wish as long as our trades are consistent with PVSRA rules......IMO, approximately 98% + / - of successful trades are due to the Trader not indicators......Those traders that are looking and searching for the so called Holy Grail of trading should look in the mirror. If there is a Holy Grail it is YOU the TRADER.....

Thanks Ockham. I always enter manually. If after a news price move very fast I prefer not to enter... When I entered on that one it was not moving that fast and I had time to enter and exit where I wanted.

Hello everyone,

I am new to PVSRA and to scalping in general. Thank you so much for this wonderful thread and to everyone who contributes, especially Cigarguy. Your charts are such a big help.

Here is my very first FIFO trade I took. It was taken on my live account because I have horrible spreads on demo and I thought it's better to go live from trade 1. I was watching the M1 and M5 charts side by side and also switched to M15. I waited for a pullback to the dragon and once I saw that price went above 1.11500 I entered at the green volume candle. Exited after 3.3 pips!

Please let me know if this was a good entry. Thank you. :-)

Welcome fguru,

Nice entry and trade.... As seen on my chart, I entered on the break of the key level 1.11500 resistance quickly and you waited for the re-test which was a safer entry...

I also looked back at some of your trades and I think you will do much better dropping those squiggly lines with our clean PVSRA charts...as evidenced by this, your first trade.......

Also, I must comment on your decision to trade LIVE vs DEMO, IMO is good advice for all new traders. There is totally a different mind set when trading with real money, no matter how small the amount. I have seen great demo traders that freeze when pulling the trigger with real $$$...

My only suggestion, is to adjust the inputs on your Trade Level indicator so all can see your tag (please don't show personal account info, it's none of our business for your eyes only).....And looking forward to your contributions.....

Thank you so much for your reply Cigarguy. And you are so right, I have been changing systems so often, it's not even funny. I hope to stick with this system forever and get more comfortable over time. I will adjust the inputs on the indicator, thanks for letting me know.

Whatever system you choose, just stay with it until you can trade it as second nature and it becomes almost boring.....Trading is not for excitement (that's for Play Station & X Box....).....But to make pips aka money .....
