I can see some nice discussion on Simon's thread on ECAD.. Unfortunately I can't join in.

Here's my effort. Original buy target was around 1.47 but we then formed H4 supply within a daily zone so took a punt before work.

I've got a position in both directions atm.. all based off D1/H4 PA.

And a good argument here I could have just played the daily zones without any H4 needed....

Weekly looks good for up so happy to hold the long here.

GCAD - Out of most and left a little piece on. bit of a continuation style entry with stops below H4 zone.

AUDNZD. just H4 engulfs with daily direction. We've got a weekly demand approaching so getting close to pulling the plug on this one.

Kiwi - hoping this one has more legs. Might pull the plug on the lower long completely and leave the uppers at BE.

Yeah, from back in the old days even though FF was a free site.

Kind of funny really since I'm openly a demo warrior with nothing to sell....

On the plus side, the swing thing seems to be working quite well even around a full time job. I've not had to run home at lunch to check the charts

Just noticed a H4 setup on AU.. Daily PA looks lower (but not sure if it's a trend change yet). H4 engulf and fresh sup formed. 30 pip stops, looking for 80 pips initial target.

Let's see.

damn c12 your really cleaning house with your trades , ive moved onto h1 zones and looking onto the 5minute for engulfs have you had any experience with this mix

Yeah, it used to be my bread and butter combo (H1/M30 with M15/m5). I just don't have the time to spend to capture these moves any more.

To be honest, I'm having a bit of a rethink on swing trading overall. If you're comfortable with reading daily PA (and have the patience to ride out the grind) then you can surely collect far more pips with more efficiency and less stress.

You can see how many cracking D1/H4 setups there have been across the majors and crosses in just the last week (some of these may even be in the early stages of a really decent run).

I really need to stick some live cash in now and see if I can manage the mental aspect again.... I'm really not learning anything at all right now, it's just a turkey shoot.

EU n EG on H4

Please with these entries on the whole and I got load more of these running on other pairs.... if things go in favour.

The extra pips on the PA does hurt RR a but but the confirmation is good to have rather than slapping limit orders on.

Aussie looks like it's turtlin at the moment in a southerly direction so may as well load up some more.

you said you used h1/m30 with m15/m5 ... what i was looking at doing was looking at h1 zones and trading them of off h5 purely just of engulfs within that hourly zone on m5 is that what you done or ? ...
