C-12 i like your latest posts! Did you left scalping ? Cause if you did you sure are doing some amazing trading! Yesterday we had a session at AG. We talk a little about this phenomena called scalping. Cause i see many people just straight with Supply and Demand go straight to scalping which is odd because for scalping one should be really skilled. Ken said that now swing trading he makes more pips / which i am sure means $ / than when he scalp. Whats your opinion ? One thing he also said scalping is like drugs .... very very addictive and leads to sometimes no sleep cause of course we want all the pips ? What you think does swing trading feels less stressful and more profitable for you ? ))

Well I've always been more of a scalp style trader but it doesn't suit my working hours at all any more.

Scalping can be addictive and destructive in the wrong hands.. I don't know how anyone can calmly bank 20 pips for the day and go off and do something else. I can remember the old days of trading 18 hours per day straight and it was a huge emotional roller coaster.

Swing trading is a better option. I prefer the intra day or multi day semi-swings off H4/H1. The RR is good and you don't have to wait weeks on end for things to play out.

When I was trading off the live account I hated swing trading in any form... I couldn't sleep knowing I had positions on. I used to wake up in the middle of the night shaking with a feeling of dread, especially when there was overnight news. It's a lot easier on a demo.
As for profit side will see how it goes. I've had a few stabs at swing trading before and had good results on demo accounts but often got drawn back into scalps. It's a good feeling when you've got a handful of runners on the go.

I would recommend listening to Ken's advice.

Ken share it took him 5 months before stop doing scalps so yes it's a big addiction. Well for me most important is to understand the concept before anything else cause it works on anytime frame but if one is at the beginning scalping is just to much for the brain to process. I just love how Julexo do scalping just amazing stuff but again it took him a lot of time and practice and his MM is great.

I have seen his statements doubling accounts in a day or 2 with 2-3% DD. So before anything understanding the concept with some common sense is most important.
I haven't found anything that "work" so good in Forex as Supply and Demand and i like many have tried all from so called "amazing" systems to $5000 gurus seminars that taught me anything. I like reading professional traders stories and tickmill website have very good ones at the trader of the month section where basically every real client with highest return for the month wins $1000. So 99% of these people have learned on their own watching charts and have had no education precious to that. But then again having a concept as SD explain by people that understands it is a completely different thing. I re read all of the post by Ken and Julexo and i still find some stuff that are like "Aha" moment.

I think that practice is the mother of every winner and people that put a lot in to it are the ones that finishes winners and those who want the easy stuff usually i see them lurking around asking and searching for some magic robot or easy system. First is the desire then is the work and after that only after that is the prize.

alright people, havent posted here in a while been busy but looking to get back into things , from what i remember i was looking for engulfs out of daily/4hr zones on lower timeframes .. daily mixed with 4hr/1hr and 4hr mixed with hour/30min .. stops being placed above zone if the engulfing created a zone or stops above engulfing if it didnt .. aiming for 1:2 - 1:3 rr never risking more than 1% .. how does that sound

May I ask you about blue and green stand for. so I can learn from the image 1 by one. is it suplly for blue or green? simple question but yeah. the default color is red and blue. so little bit confuse for learning on all of you screenshot. but overall nice indicator for making the rectangle automatically know their side (suplly/demand) tq c12

Even a trained monkey could double an account in 4 days, or 40, with some luck; is easier than you think, but is something good for the show; nothing more. What it really matter is what you can achieve on - at least - a yearly basis, and that's why you cannot see so much successful statement with more then 6 months of history, becouse people who can really achive 50-80% (or more) on a monthly basis has 0 interest to show their account and the others are just fraudster. (i am not talking about julexo or anyone else specifically here, just a general statement)

Well, we've seen a fair few instances of the trade explorers with lossless trading, tripling or quadrupling and then the account suddenly blows up. It always comes down to the same thing - trading without stop loss.

I'm not interested in seeing anyone's statements but it's nice to see people making this work.. It's more just sharing trade ideas and people can figure out the rest through trial and error (hopefully on demo).

I see people doing some really nice stuff on this forum with S&D, some prefer PA and some take the zones. Others trade off monthly/weekly/daily, some trade off M1. I still learn new things. I like what Batus is showing on Simon's thread with very tight zone trading.

If I could consistently double or triple live accounts every few days on a consistent basis then I surely wouldn't be on here or working a full time job.

Yeah it's just the same indi with different colours. I'm not sure who created the template but I think it goes back to the old days of Ken's RTP thread and it's mellow on the eyes after a lot of screentime.

It's better to draw the zones manually at the beginning. I can usually eye ball the zones but the indi is handy for those long distance zones that are out of view.

is it just me or is there a a hell of a lot of setups on hourly timeframe mixed with lower timeframe

Off course. Forex is very personal, you need to find what timeframe suit you. If you new on this game, I would recommend start with higher timeframe before going lower. The reason is Higher time frames act as filters of market noise
