This seems to be a good suggestion, however, I personally like trading the pin-bars (and variations such as shooting star, morning doji, etc.) the most.

Version 1.02 of the indicator released. In this version the hypothesis for the market cycle change is displayed with Olive colored bars. I updated Post 1.

does it repaint? or does it draw the bar(1) olive histogram at the open of a signal at bar(0), which would be ideal, because one could then look for a move through the HL of the signal bar.

It doesn't repaint. It draws Bar[1] olive histogram at the open of Bar[0].

Hello,

I did a quick check and it looks like that this indicator works best on 1H timeframe. The 30 min one give a lot of those olive bars.
And, on GBPJPY is a no showings of the olive bars. Do you know what is wrong?
One more. Would a multitimeframe Version even possible?

Hello,

This indicator works on M30 charts the best, however, I didn't limit its functionality on M30 charts.
I guess it would work fine on M15 and H1 as well. I'll tink about a multi-TF version of this indicator.

please be adviced that,

i have studied the cycle indi you have posted

it is just a colored copy of the standard momentum on period of 10 , and if you make it on period 14 they are both 100% idenitcal, but really i have liked the idea and i will build an ea

for more than 5 times for 9 pairs.... Manually
and believe me, yes they are the same with a very minor little difference

ALSO IF WE ADD THE LEVELS , IT IS BETTER FOR MORE NICE SIGNALS, NO NEED FOR THE PINBAR....

And by the way, to build an ea doesnot need the mq4 code, for this indi, as the extern variables are found easilt in the mt4, so, i will try to use your indi .exe format to build an icustom ea , then i will post it here , i will need your help in certain stage.

Idea of the project
an ea to trade colored momentom
above 50 level sell
under 50 level buy
use martinage - no / yes
maximum profit is 50 point
lot size 0.01 to begin with
time frame as said by mt7 is 30 minutes ( i think also it is good time frame too )
close if you reach tp or you reach opposite level
make the trade on new bar
one trade only on each new bar
later on i will add the idea of the pinbar

The index of "flat" buffer is 0, the index of "down" buffer is 1, and the index of "up" buffer is 2. Hope this helps you to read the indicator's values.

good , and another comment, not all pairs are accepting the level 50 or -50 for time frame 30 min.
For example

eur/gbp only is accepting these two levels on h4, bcz of that this pair is an ea terminator ... Ha a ha a h a

this pair always is odd compared to other pairs.

ok, more easier is to use levels than buffers as i will assume that i do not know the buffers and the trader wants to use the levels that he can read from the chart as per his wish

so, i will add external the levels to be added manually by the trader, but i am afraid that some traders will miss use it wrongly, so i will make the ea to calculate it automaically

counting 1200 bars to the back

what is the avg of maximum, what is the avg of the minimum, then absolute value for sum of each and the sum is over 2 will give me the avg, then i will take extreme top or extreme bottom to have 75% non counter trend and the last 25% is the signal generator.

Any ideas
