GB is not finished yet, he will trade from tomorrow with remaining 40k he has in his MAM account.

Exactly, it looks like Nick is more than wiling to give him a third chance despite two clear examples inside 18 trading days at how poor GB's money management is (non-existent) and how he simply costs averages.

You have to ask yourself, why is Nick so intent on keeping GB Mamalive?

Look at GB's personal doodboy account - it is obvious he still has the gbp/usd trades on. In fact if you look at his close trades, you can see he continued to add to his own account even when (eventually) Nick pulled the plugged on the Mam account. This is suicide/pray and hope trading. Gbpusd may well bounce back but the fact that he allowed himself to get in to this position, and burn clients money too, show's he has a long way to go before he can be trusted.

But let's face it, someone blows 40% of an account after 8 trading days and then 10 trading days later, he blows 50% of same account (circumventing Nick's 40% limit) and Nick is still prepared to give him a chance after a one day cooling off period.

What's that tell you? Nick should be showing GB the door but instead, is working out best way to allow him to continue to trade. What credibility does Nick have left? Is he looking after himself or his clients?

most of nicks traders are in long drawdowns esp viper, it has all year

GB excuses..
just 4 pips 1.3031 away was my target and i had planned to close in profit.. just 4 pips!! and i was going to close it i didnt want anyone to take a loss!..and market reverses 90 pips..GU opened afte testing 1.3000 n 1.3000 passed test... on london open GU started for north 1.3019. 12 pips away from target.. and then all of sudden pair starts to wobble, i wait n say ok let start of european dust settle, no major GBP news this week.. The RBNZ rate cut off just killed it, left nothing but USD in demand in market. On a normal day, GBP was heading for 1.3126

.. ahhh i am just out of words guys.. i dunno if you guys still want to give me another chance...., i just wont be able to sleep for a long time with this on my conscious.. . just 4 pips away i think the fact i know ppl are following me n closing in loss diverts me a bit. if i was solely trading i'd have closed it n not wait 4 pips... 2 days i had no sleep..no food.. i was glued to close the trades ..in righ time 4 pips!

Not exactly....


There was a point during this trade where you went from expecting a 4 pip move and hitting your take profit, to praying that it didn't drop another 4 pips and wiping another 10% of your available equity (at one point you had 97 lots open on the MAM). So why did you hold and continue to add? Not for any logical reason... you fell into the rookie trap of "well I've come this far, cutting now is pointless, so I might as well run it to hell".


You could have cut this basket and regrouped numerous times, but you didn't. You destroyed $41,000 of peoples hard earned money on a 130 pip move on GBPUSD.... 130 pips! That's a walk in the park for GBPUSD.


The magic dust has settled and I hope we can all see this for what it is. A strategy that repeatedly risks the entire account in the hopes of doubling it. Almost like a coin toss or martingale. We got sucked in because of the sexy gains and excitement, which I admit I also made the mistake of believing for a fleeting moment.


But the fact of the matter is that this has been a waste of money, time and resources for everyone concerned. Nothing that's happened in the past 24hrs leads me to think that we should continue to run this MAM.


A trader's true character is shown during moments of adversity, and I'm sad to say that Goodboy has displayed the worst character of any trader I've ever worked with. I'm yet to hear from him other than the ridiculous post above.


We won't be trading the Goodboy strategy on the MAM any further, however one of the other traders here is deliberating about the possibility of taking over in an attempt to help recover everyone's money (free of charge). I'll of course communicate with each of you individually on all the details if/when that happens so you can make up your own mind on what you'd like to do.


Until then, if you bump into a Pakistani/American in New York City answering to the name of Adna, please tell him I'd like to talk to him.

Thanks for that mytrader. I read that on forexsignal and could not believe the gall of GB.

I doubt Adna is his real name. He probably lied to Nick about this too unless Nick had requested far more evidence of who he was? By the way, does anyone know what evidence Nick require from someone to start a Mam/Pamm? Or is this just an email (which can easily be a fake name)

Can't believe the lies GB is still telling. He claims he would have taken the losses if it was on his personal account yet if you look at his doodboy myfxbook (his personal account), you can see he is still holding and adding to his gbpusd trades and trading this pair despite his drawdown now being 40%. It's obvious he is trading in/out this pair. He has zero idea about cutting losses and is just a good old fashioned cost average trader who once he gets in to a bad position, just holds and prays.

Gbpusd may well recover and then he will claim how great his trading is and that his subscribers should have kept faith in him, not appreciating that many would have received margin calls or suffered 60%-70%+ drawdown by then).

I guess it's comforting to see Nick finally pull the plug and accept his error in being taken in by GB. No consolation to those who lost so much but as swingtrader said, the evidence was there for anyone to see from the outset, so all subscribers must also take the blame for being taken in..

I guess we should leave the final word to GB's biggest fanboy, MoneyZilla.

So come on MoneyZilla, where is the GoodBoy television interview? I hope you know you are as much to blame as GB in all this for promoting him so shamelessly and refusing to acknowledge the obvious flaws in GB's gambling system.

To be fair to MoneyZilla, he did acknowledge his lack of MM which is the main part of it.

Anyone looking to gain the % GB was after is asking for a devastating loss. It's just not realistic from what I've seen everywhere.
The whole lot of trades could have equated to less than 5% and then it would be a reasonable system.
People complicate things.

I know it dose not really matter just a bit confused about that because goodboy said he was in the UK on his profile and In no way has he shown dishonest characteristics would like it if someone can clear this up for me.

That's why I am asking what Nick's procedure is before he allows anyone to start a Mam/Pamm account through forexsignals.

Does Nick ask for bona fide proof that the person is who they say they are, they are based where they say they are, bank details?

Surely someone as experienced as Nick would request these details (obviously keeping the details for his own use rather than to make available to everyone) rather than just accepting a nameless/faceless with a myfxbook account? Or am I being really really naive?

This is why I have suggested that FF auto fills in a persons location through their IP address rather than let a user decide themselves where they are based.

I know it won't catch all, especially those that log in through a Virtual Server but it's a start.

I started the below but no one really seemed interested and FF have not bothered either.

yes good idea I have vote on it

it's crazy if know one is really sure who he is yet people are still willing to give him money I was telling my GF about it the other day and she was like it's impossible someone can get away with this a lesson for everyone thinking of investing in this make sure they are reputable and are who they say they are. I hope know one loss more than they can afford to lose
