Yes, I remember him and all the others that followed. Nick used to trade as well in the early days.

I think its time for people to move on, yes GB is gambler and what ever, but yet he has got clients+funds+ and he is making profits.

I am not his competitor in fact I am not in competition with any one here, I have my little business and I want people to subscribe me on basis of my trading.

I also wish people move on and trade their own account and lets stop trolling others.

Sorry if this is straight but I think this kind of negativity about any one does not benefit any one.

Yeah he was.Almost Nick gave him another break from his gambling because at one point his DD was 31%!!.He still siting with his GBPUSD buys from lunch.He is such a hard gambler.Market didn't give him break for piss.

It's not about negativity, it's pointing out the inherent weaknesses of the system so that all prospective subscribers know exactly what they are buying in to.

I have returned today and what do I see? Look at the screen shot and tell me if this is sensible "trading"? -50% LOSS in one day? What happened to the -40% cut off?

I have always said that all GB does is look for areas of support/resistant/confluence where he then expects a short term counter rally from. He then starts to add to positions, continuously doing so especially as the price starts to move against him. He looks to average his price. Nothing wrong with that EXCEPT that when prices move outside the range, he should be looking to take stops but he does not.

But as evidence by the two occasions he has now hit his 40% drawdown in a day (today he hit 50%), it is 100% EVIDENCE for all to see that he simply keeps adding to his losers. This is grid trading at it's WORSE especially considering the high lot sizes.

Also (I hope Nick sees this) as he was cutting losers to make sure running drawdown was less than 40%, he kept on buying at a lower price but at even higher lot sizes (this was a cunning way for the drawdown to not hit 40% so he was bypassing Nick's stop rule). He was simply getting desperate to lower his buy price and he kept thinking the market would eventually bounce. it did not.

Well, now that GB's live client "trading" is here for all to see, I wonder if Nick will give him another chance. Perhaps Nick will have no choice but to give him a second chance. But the weakness is there for all to see.

MoneyZilla - I seriously hope you can now see what I was trying to say. GB had zero rules for stops and what you said about him averaging out within a designated range was complete rubbish. He is not fit to "trade" other peoples money as he has zero consideration for risk.

He has always had this account, I think it was mentioned elsewhere earlier on this thread.

It's his personal account. He tends to mirror the trades he was taking on the Goodboy_fx account. However like the usdjpy positions from 29-June proved, as it's his personal account where Nick can not pull the plug at 40% running drawdown, he will keep trades open until he feels like.

Look at his current screen, it has NOT UPDATED for 2 hours. In my experience, people deliberately cut the link between their terminal and myfxbook to stop their drawdown from updating. I suspect he still has his gbpusd trades open and his drawdown is way worse than the 39.89% that is showing. Am happy to be proven wrong but I doubt I am. Let's see.

The only thing you missed is the Circus that is GB gambling. He does this over and over and over. I am sure he is out trolling for his next unsuspecting victims.
I reached out to him via PM and offered to help build a sensible trading plan with MM rules to help him get past this ....but i guess he is smarter than all of us and doesnt need the help...he only needs MORE SUCKERS to put more money in.

My FX Book is now shown to be a joke as well, not even enforcing their own rules concerning DD.

As a long time participant in these markets I would suggest the following to anyone who is thinking of putting money up for a trader.

The ONLY thing that is acceptable for track record is an official one that is registered through the CFTC and audited by a major CPA firm,
anything else and you get what you deserve

To all the people that lost a bunch of money in GB latest gambling spree, YOU WERE WARNED HERE MANY TIMES!!

Bloody hell that was again very quick.Of course Nick will allowed him trade again.This gambler is the best and most entertainment thing on Nick website.Well this ia lovely example what is different between trading and gambling.
Sad thing is if he is not one trick pony even gambler he will be in profit even with this.Definitely first reach 40%two weeks ego was psych,hit for him and yesterday must be huge emotionaly and tiring gambling day.Casino gambler has easy life then him as a forex gambler.Well at least Nick gave him pee break.

Would like to hear some opinions concerning this issue: Is it better to trade multiple pairs at the same time, or is it more profitable to concentrate your trading on one, or possibly two pairs all the time?

if you plan to trade manually its best to just concentrate on 1 pair....if you convert your strategy in robot go for multiple pairs.

This issue? As in what has happened here? What happened here does not have anything to do with multiple or single pair (unless I have mis-understood what you are saying?)

What happened here was someone who simply added to losers, using very high lot size, and then did not know when to stop.

I was watching the trades this morning but had to go out......back in - another 9 days and he has done it again.

I wish Nick would just accept it - gb is finished!!!!!!!!
