but aud cad seems until now(2012-2016) ranging very well and with a safe setting of your EA ()has long life and good gain

Version 1.30 of the EA released. In this version an additional filter added to detect tops/bottoms of charts to make the EA operation safer. I updated Post 1.

OK bro .... a pair ABCXYZ was during a distinct time "ranging" ... hmm that was a good time for this EA/strategy .... BUT you understand: we never ever know in this crazy FX world what will happen tomorrow - you know ?

As the below screenshot shows the deposit was $5000 while the max. DD was $6731, so the account was saved from crash just because the balance has significantly grown by profits when the max. DD had occured.

Should the backtest started on the day of Max. DD, the account would have been crashed immediately.

i dont predict the future but if a pair is gone in many years in some way in the past there are good chances that the pair continue to go the same way

ok so tell me when an EA should start....from some part the EA should be start no?
its normal that if i start the EA and suddenly start a crazy trend off course it will crash

AUD/CHF, CAD/CHF, NZD/CAD, NZD/CHF also test pretty well with this EA. Like someone said earlier, the more range the better. Increasing the grid size and lowering the marti muliplier to 1.25-1.50 also helps reduce the drawdown. Reduces the profits a bit also, but you can withstand more levels. But since its a martingale it is never completely safe from destruction. I ran a bunch of test with multiplier at 1.25. It acts almost like a grid trader at that point.

my multiplier is for 3000-5000 euros is 1.1(lot 0.01-0.02)
i will try:
for 10.000-50.000nis 1.3(lot 0.03)
50.000-100.000 is 1.5(lot 0.04)
