CREE DC ER 8/16, looking for just 5% iv rise into the ER (filled $25/$30 DC @ 13c)

Tuesday gimme LVS $50+ and running up and I will clear a dollah+ on DC. Looking at AAPL data out, I need < $93 to make some good $ on leftover $90 long puts...the DC is already 15c or so above water, anything else is gravy.

AAPL northbound on news of new i-Toaster campaign (or something).....oh well...I have $110 long calls for Aug expiry, who knows?

lol, never fails, if I had let $100 calls run, AAPL would have tanked....it's a tricky, whacky universe....AAPL > $103 post ER, we will see what it can hold thru the week.............I might find the nerve to fade it, watching the iv's

we'll see what JY does, but so far as I can see there's no reason not to just get long. Really doesn't matter what with. My gambit for this week and next, etc, will be to troll the ER aftermaths and see who has been beat down.....

Oct/Jan $20/$30 SKX DC cost ya about $1, maybe get something like it for less in next couple weeks.....but the nice thing I see is that 15-25% iv rise right into the next ER, which is Oct 20.....(FILLED @ $1.15)

I love kitties. In the weeks post-ER you can find them, waiting for you in the played-out iv....NFLX iv scraping along in record low territory, next ER is Oct 12, the $80/$105 is what I shoulda played last time (did $90/$105), the P/L shown models a 15% iv rise into the ER day...maybe risk $1.50 to net out 50c to $2.50. Not great r:r, but the probability of making some kind of gain on these is very high - that's a $50 profit zone on a $90 stock, and it might be even better than that if NFLX gives better iv rush into October. This trade is for cashing out in the week b4 the ER (up to the day, just watch the P/L) --- if you want to play something more stepwise you'll have to wait for the Oct weeklies. That'll be down the road and the iv's may be ticking up....

all kitties, all the time. I have this HLF DC @ $60/70 for 50c, but I want more so I am putting on the $64/70 kitty below for ~50c, too......risk 50c to net out $2+....IF we see the iv bump, I am saying 10% (FILLED 50c)

DC's shown above look great with wide profit zones and good (if not outrageous) r:r across that range, but everything depends on the options iv's.......in super low vol environment you may not be able to count on much of a vol rise into the ER's. So, get in cheap.

UVXY....r/s came in this week with UVXY high at $32.5....now looking to touch $27.00 after 4 td's....at the rate we're going, you have to wonder if they may not have to do another r/s before the end of September? And when does the SEC shut them down...???

there are futures options on currencies, check the CME website

any US broker that offers futures trading will offer the futures options, also. If you are overseas, check out Interactive Brokers. You can also trade currency etf's like FXE, FXY, etc, like trading stocks.
