yeah, NFLX dropped like a lead turd, way below the $90 strike. But I hoped it would bounce & it did, ...I had a 65c gtc on the $90 calendar & that hit today. If I would have seen it in time prolly woulda asked for more, in hopes NFLX might keep floating up to pin $90 on Friday, but oh well......these ER trades a bit of a crap shoot, but at least something happens. 15c out is just a tad over b/e, with all the legs in the DC....

CMG posts tomorrow. Can it pop a $50 move? I put some money on that: a pair of $2.50 wide verts: $372.5/$370 puts and $457.50/$460 calls, 40c and 25c respectively (Jul 22 all). Pretty good r:r if we get a big poppy. CMG closing today at $421.

Pandora ain't all that no mo, been known to drop like a lead zeppelin on ER stink. Can really fill these verts for 2c? We'll see. I will check later weeks - ER's tomorrow, verts shown are next week expiry....2c on a 50c vert pretty nice, I would do up to a nickel for this lotto tick

LVS Jul 22/29 $46/$48 DC cost me $1.26...... runs to the Jul 29 $46/48 strangle in ER week, if LVS cooperates

been tryin fill a PCLN double vert for ER week, there are some price breaks in there, but filling so cheap near atm gonna be a long shot

the AAPL DC is set up to run into the ER week as a strangle.....just need AAPL to pull back a little by Friday....
AAPL Jul 22/Jul 29 $100 calls calendar, I took it off.....AAPL pegged right on $100 yesterday close so I bailed on it for a 60c profit on the entire DC.....now of course AAPL will pull back and then blast to $110 after the ER, and I will have traded 60c for a $10 stunner. The moral: put on bigger numbers so you can afford to let some run in this scenario. Anyway, I will still have the Jul 29 $90 puts....

cheap long vol @ VXX calls. Kahuna style. Fishing in the Jul FOMC week for a bit of hawkish noise....surely JY is concoyned about the precipitous rise in US equities?

SPY Sep 30 $213.00/200/187.00 @9 lot risks $1.34k to make max $8.41k

SPX Sep 30 2125/2000/1875 @ 1-lot risks $1.31k to make $8.99k

LVS closed today at $47.32, ER's Monday, looking for the easy northbound winner, anything over $49.25, roughly, is money

UVXY splits Monday, looks like it will be $30 post-split.....will be watching for the chains to fill out, takes some time....I rolled down VXX Jul 29 $14.5 long calls to $12.5 for 7c today.....I must be stupid....

i just read first pages of this thread.
It interested me coz beside my scalping trades i do options trades as well just simple ones ( no managing portfolio)

good site for learning and tips for trades is www.tastytrade.com/tt/

and my tip for what kind of strategy. Vertical spreads mainly Put spreads .works for me the best.
