I had also cable short in anticipation of bad Retail sales so it helped. But I could not watch both, so I lost some gains in cable when it rebound.

This is manipulation of the news wires and you cannot predict this s**t up.
Reminds me of similar news circus with oil and what oil ministers were saying from Russia to Saudi and Kuwait. Swings every 5 minutes. This one said we will cut production and then they will meet. Other minister comes and says, no, they will not meet and not cut. Swings like crazy on USD CAD.

After German PMI risk on sentiment came back to markets. Dax up, gold down.
I am betting on bad PMIs from UK, short cable from 1.3268
Probably EUR GBP long, since EU PMIs were good, but I don't trade it.
