Hello everyone.

Given the events of yesterday in Turkey i thought i would show the USD/TRY,
highlighting how news quickens what was already going to happen in most cases
Institutions used the news as they always do, to profit.
We can join them in profiting as well, if we know what they are doing and follow suit.

It is quite insightful so i thought i'd share it.

Hi AKT,

With the pivots, do you consider only obvious ones which have pulled back or spiked, or as many do with a (3) candle structure such as a high or low with a lower high or low each side. See below images.

In vid seems you make ref to pivot being taken out and its a (3) candle basic pivot structure however in the other image the same structure has not been used to form the Trend Line even though it made a higher high.

Hello Chica, Welcome.
Thanks for the question.

In identifying pivots, i don't make it complicated or mechanize it at all actually.
I simply look at the chart for rallies and drops in a sort of wave structure (not Elliott wave or Bill William's Fractals but more of impulse - correction type analysis, similar to Gann and Wyckoff's styles)

Where is the impulse?, where did it start?, where did it correct?
Was the correction a dip or a range?

How can we define a demand zone without an opposite supply zone or a broken trendline?

When a market is making new all time highs, the methodology says to follow the trend until supply shows up
