There is a window here that would have been difficult to trade (on 3%). Back to testing. EIDT, I don't think the ATR-based TS, BE, and PL are working properly as my test results are nearly identical with and without using those features. {image}
Thank you nonlinear for your testing on the 4hr TF... While you are applying the EA to the 4hr chart, in the EA settings what Signal timeframe have you set? 4 hrs?

This is another concept for another day and I am talking out loud here, but to really scalp with this, it might work well where the SL/TP are based on the spread at entry (e.g., spread is 3, and SL and TP are thus 6 or something like that), the price deviation between the primary pairs, and the hour of day. Would run the expert on a week of live M1 (or preferably smaller) bars on the three pairs, analyze the price deviations, analyze every potential entry at different tight SL/TP levels based on the spread, track the hour of day) and then trade off those results while the expert continues to analyze live ticks to repeat the process. Just a another complicated scalping thought for another day and not meant for Mt4, sigh lol

Yup I've selected that too. I even played around w some other settings but the SL still doesnt work so I've reverted back to version 4 for the forward testing for now.

Yes, all 4H. Keep in mind that this approach still need some tweaking and will likely be safer and have better results after we set the max and min ATR levels.

Very well said, 20% to 30% monthly roi is enough... unless your broker is fully STP/ECN. TRUE. Not self proclaimed.

if your broker found that you are very profitable, they will probably hate you ... then be ready to possible freezed of your withdrawal request etc.

You are using a 1 pip stop? Try 10 pips (100).

Thanks for your fantastic work on this ea, Khalil!
I've seen a pretty hefty DD forward testing 1 min/15 min (-$420 with 0.1 lot size, RVI filter on, max open trades = 1).
I'm wondering if we could test a version which requires an even higher TF to be in alignment in order for a signal to be generated,
such as perhaps the 1 hour alignment necessary for the 1 min/15 min?

Whether this is practical to be included or not, don't know. Just a thought.

another bug report: when ea take profit, the ea will be removed from the chart automatically.
that is happened in demo account forward test.
