look at the blue 1-2-3-4
blue 4 reaches into territory of blue 2, but the subwaves 1 and 3 and 5 of the blue 3 seem to be clearly impulsive. So we can rule out an ending diagonal of the entire blue 1-2-3-4-5

as I have pointed out last week:
many big addresses were on the wrong side of the Brexit trade. There is a need for them to average down their bets in order to get on the right side of the next major move to the downside.

Question to our mathematical genies: In Elliottwave we often see counts, were very tiny movements are labelled as major waves. This often leads to the situation, that the waves do not have the right look. For example: often times such labelling leads to counts, where the impulse does look more like a corrective ABC So my question is: what would be the best method to filter the tiny moves out? Can we calculate something like white noise, or a threshold-level, in order to determine when a wave should be seen as "qualifying" wave, or deemed as"white...
Markus, the problem is that you can not say that a new tiny move is either important for the current representation of a wave or not.
If the wave has already been formed, you can say that tiny move has been, say, unimportant, it has been a "tiny" one, a piece of the white noice. But you do not know what is being formed right at the moment you are watching...
Yes, there are methods that can filter the unimportant data to determine the significant points perfectly enough in order for us to say that the determined data formation is the significant for us, of course, it can be done in assumption of some probability. These methods operate with the already-been-formed data array, unfortunately
. They can not answer the questions in dynamics.Similar methods are used to determine (find) significant energy peaks in the energy spectre, for example.
However, I think, much researching is needed in order to "tie" such methods to the market price representation data.
