How The Market Really Works Short Story
Example:
Let's say I am the Executive of large XX bank in US and Roels Major is Executive of large XX bank in Asia.
We drink our early morning coffe and get the report of pending market orders...
He is my friend and I call him. We exchange few jokes and ask polite questions about our families first of course..then we get to the bizz..and I say to him:
" Hey Roels, I have some big pending buy orders on UJ 70 pips higher...let's buy today until we get to them, I'll owe you one. "
Roels answers: " Sure, NP, my friend, we'll do that."
I'm not finished wth my intentions so I countinue: " And while we are at it...those orders SL is 100 pips from their orders...so we could stop buying after we reach those orders ...there will be enough sellers at that price that we get rid of longs .. and we can then sell agresively to SH them. Today Yellen speaks, so volatile mkt would not be unusual. If we will not be able to get rid of those shorts then, we can pass them to each other after we move it 20 pips, I'll give them to you first and buy...and after cca 20 pips you give those shorts back to me and buy...and we can repeat the process until we get enough interest in shorts that we get rid of them all...then we buy some more and let it run, so we can generate some more profits later. What do you say?"
Roels bored: " Sure, NP, we'll be in touch for some details. Say , when are we going for some sailling again? Last time was fun, not to mention no press and I could get drunk and do what I want after a long time..the food was great too. That Mario is Master Chef
