I am currently use Stochastic 14,3,3 for all D1, H4 and H1 timeframes but I see some poeple in this thread are using 11,3,3 and 5,3,3 (fast Stochastic). I am a bit confused which setting is harmonised with TDI according to this system? Appreciate if experienced traders could elaborate this.

If you're not happy with 14,3,3, then why don't you try use them all to see if it gives you any edge. Alien system uses multiple Stochastics for example....

The only differences between these kind of stochs with different parameters are their reaction to price. It means that 5.3.3 is faster than 11.3.3 and so on.
The faster one may increase your losses. I think the faster one is better for those who are trading m1, m5 or m15. So if you are trading these time frames, so you can use it.
I suggest you to use what MEHDI said or 11.3.3.

I agree, I would like to stick the the original thread and system from post one, I've been using it for the last few weeks and my trading account has never made better reading, I only take the trades that work with the rules from post #1 and my win ratio is very pleasing.

Hi Folks,

Keep It Simple. Just stick to Medhi' Method 1 and Method 2 as he described in his posts in this thread. His methods are based on original TMS 5-Method. with his filters.

All the tweaking with the Stochastics will not make your rich.

But if your are so in love with Stochastics, there is Sexy Stochastics here:

You need discipline to follow any mechanical system based on indicators you can make some money but you wont become rich trading this spot forex market when you do not have the winning edge in you.

HI...
New poster. I have been busy reading, any thread related to Big-E's (Rest in Peace) 5-Method (TMS).
I'm starting this on a demo account.
My first trade guys, I would appreciate any thoughts on this trade!!
It was a 50-50, I closed it late before stop for -33.9

Look at daily chart,price hit the 200 ema ( As I said before in post 2408, consider 200 ma as a supp or res )

Look at H1 chart and look at the trend line .

Please read post 2408 to cut your losses.

Hi

Am using both pro and watchdog tdi, but I set watchdog tdi to H4 (240 min) and it doesn't change, just to see the angle and cross in H4 anytime.

i do have the Synergy_Pro_TDI.ex4 indicator file
but i don't have the
compassfx.dll and synergy_pro.dll
showed in the dependencies
so does this indicator still work without them ?

if anyone know plz update...

Hi

One another point that want to share with you is to pay attention to the angle of stoch

Look at H4 chart: bounce happened in H4 and stoch is sloping down and passed 50 . so you think that it's a good setup
But to be sure for a winner setup, just look at the angle of 1 TF lower

H1 is sloping up, so it can't be a good setup now, wait for stoch in H1 to be the same angle as H4 and then push the trigger.

u have to wait for 1h and 4h to be on the same direction on stoch to trade...now i see...
normally i just go with the 1h and 4h is just a reference...

If we follow the post 1 and method 1 and method 2 as outlined by mehdi343, and follow his rule of observing tdi and stochs, that will make our trading less stressful.......

if we at the same time check out for nearest support/resistance (Big RN, 200 ema, etc), that will make our trading less risky.....

Of course, one can make it more complicated by adding more indicators depending upon the individual's preferences, but the beauty of this system introduced by mehdi343 is....
- it's less risky
- it's less stressful
But that's just my opinion....
