How much u guys earned during the UK Referendum?

Hi, this is the highest fluctuation ever i had seen in forex today...

im quite curious how much u guys earned on this pair regarding the UK Referendum?

and also for those how much of u guys died in this pair?

i lost about 1k USD because i was holding the long with 0.10 size lots... imagine if i short it... i can earn about 20k usd with just 0.10 lot size... how about u guys? hope u guys can share it because im curious...

It's actually bad etiquette to talk about monetary values in trades. It is better to talk in pips or risk %.
I traded 3 accounts but this is my main account (you will have to take my word its a real account) and had the most trades. Sorry I am too lazy to work out the pips gained. Had 3 losses near the end of the vote so called it a a day but overall was a very successful day.

Wow u have amazing skills!!! thanks for sharing!! btw would u mind tell me how much u earned roughly through this news??? is it able to buy a car?

In a 435pip range... I managed to grab 312pips...
I'll let your imagination think what I was doing when it was dropping like a roller coaster (prior to London open)

Well thanks, not really. My Risk management was a bit poor to be begin with and some of my entries could have been better. I was following BBC International on the Referendum results and a Forex Squark service and realised quite soon as the results were coming out that a Leave vote was a possibility. At about 12:15am (GMT) Sunderland and I think Newcastle results came out which caused the 1st big spike down. Because the market was heavily expecting a Remain vote, there was a lot of potential for a big move down.
Was probably my 2nd most profitable day this year but not enough to buy a car unfortunately. Enough to pay for my living expenses for a month or 2 though.

Made $800 kept thinking that i could be making a fortune but didnt want to take the risk
I left my ea running live on a 6 figure account during the entire time of Brexit, although I was not trading any EUR GBP related currency so the leverage was not capped, but there were >300 pip moves. Under normal conditions the ea averages around 5-6 trades a day and a roi of 0.128% per day. During the last 2 days of this week it executed around 150 trades and made a roi of 4.4%

So yeah, pretty happy. Basically made what I normally make in 1 month over the 2 days.

Anyone else continue trading during Brexit?

I blew my account. Initially made £900 by going long on GBPUSD and GBPJPY and thought I'll leave it at that and wasn't going to trade further. However, greed got the better of me and I opened up bigger positions hoping for the sterling to rally after a remain result but boy was I wrong. 4th account I've blown now lol so back to the drawing board for me.
no movement yet, so no earnings, what you have seen is nothing compared what should happen, GBP should take of like a rocket and Euro fall like a brick, that didn't happen yet, probably because of intervention from the banks, the question is, how long can they inject money in the Euro before they see it is futile. we will probably see sideways price action for some time.

Reduce your leverage and dont take so much risk its better to make small trades and keep your account than blow it up looking for a one off gain i used to have the same problem when i started but i learned to be patient and trust me its heeps better

Key to winning with crazy volatility was to leverage too less which yields good dividends.

99.99999 % of retail forex traders lost money. Brexit is no exception.
Around 9% and 6k... best month so far after a very sluggish past few months.
Shit Happens
Made 800$ on betting, 3 hrs before the event the ratio remain/ leave was 7:1, my 120$ wager earned 700$ profit. I think it was clear that UK exit was highly underestimated so it was wise to bet on it.
This is how my forex Teacher and Mentor killed the Market in just 3 hours. Well done Sir George (Top Dog)!!!!
