closed my GU long, still holding AJ long (going to try to keep this one for a long time, with try being the key word). Payed a little bit with UJ and got burnt some, up 25% for the day though

Let's see if they do intervene. My guess is that when the YEN bounced off the 99 mark was when Japan intervened as the bounce was pretty strong.

If Brexit really happen (not only by vote) then i believe EU influenced Scotland will ask for independence later. Tit for tat
Did they think about it when voted for Brexit? I don't know if they are nearsighted people

And for Europe, this is just starting point of their Union break
Who will take advantage? Opposition, probably China or other anti US-EU relationship nation

i doubt the boj had a thing to do with it.. its never going to drop w/o some retrace.the retrace was to norm. the area the bounce came from was -100. where many large traders were waiting. the same on a drop 103.xx would most likely be

I am hoping DAX heads back down next week again or some time in July to 9000. That will be possible if YEN goes under 100 and GBP continues its current path to maybe 1.30
I got some short orders open on DAX

But if Scotland wants Britain to remain in the EU, to be part of something bigger, Globalization, integration...etc doesn't Scotland wanting independence makes them hypocrites? Why don't they stay with Britain? be part of something bigger, Globalization, integration...etc .
They are becoming like Britain so they shouldn't judge Britain for leaving.

gu 4119 would probably pull eu up. dax dropping to summer 2012 levels would probably pull eu up because of funding redemptions. eu has a valid target of 1.2470.. it has a 1.22xx norm.. a new high above 1.7xx, targets 1.27/1.29. yen and euro as a funder can make them strong, due to redemptions. easing will just cause the opposite of weakening effect. Hey Gator, thanks for your comments, always highly valued! Forgive my ignorance here, but if boj want to and do intervene, surely they can prevent uj going all the way to 68? Let's say it gets to 96 and they decide that's their bottom line, surely they can buy usd till the cows come home and prevent the market penetrating that level? And round about now we're reaching down to those levels where yen is becoming far too strong for boj's liking. So how could uj ever get to 68? Is there a simple answer to this?

print a close in 10 min above 1.360, gives 4119 a little more likely chance. maybe a little fight before..

look at it like this.. 45ish years ago honda rolled out its first car in u.s. built from factories the marshall plan helped build. call it "u.s. shooting itself in foot economic wise." a few years earlier vw. around the same time u.s. oil production peaked. the u.s. left the gold standard.. oil embargo, opec started feeling its oats.. so for 45 years the yen has been manipulated to help japan. the rooster is coming home to roost.. negative rates atm.. so what are they gonna do now? threaten us with more negative rates.. when atm negative rates. just took away 2700 pips off uj.. you got 45 years of invested money that can come back to japan because of low rates funding. those redemptions could be larger than anything boj can stop.. plus tech wise, paths are built by pa. pa weighs weakness and strength, and builds paths more likely to happen. some unrealistic ones like gold 9xx or oil 14 seem crazy at the time. just as crazy as uj 106.33 or 100.5 was at 125 was..

when cheap energy is produced in a place like the u.s. places that import energy and commodities. like japan on a volcano. have less chances to compete. so they lower rates.. at the end of the line is 0. they have gone to places w/o a script in negative. they live on a volcano with high social cost with a aging population. the curve for japan is not up..

the question should be.. why has uj dropped as boj threw the kitchen sink at it. i dont know the answer. i do know a path to 68.09 was built. it was missed through the intervention last time at 75.xx.. that intervention has gone to negative rates.. there's no script for negative. there is a valid path to 68.09.. yes it may detour to 112.xx as a normal retrace on the smaller chart. and on a even smaller one 102.9x was one.. the R at 103.58/.78. may help prevent more up..i dont know, if it will hold.

gu has closed above the mentioned 1.36. a close now possibly as small as an hour, above 1.3640. can/ may be bullish toward 1.4119. next h is a 4h

MaxDoom and Gator seem to have opposite views on DAX. One bought and went Bull and one has bearish view of it. I got a bearish position on it.

Max trading style is a bit different. he is a master of dax and euro. if he sells u sell.
