Indicators only show what happened in the past
indicators hope they are right and the market seldom if ever listen to indicators
APB or Heiken Ashi hides the Price Action
You do not see doji's or engulfing bars or three white soldiers

i just removed the APB so the guys can see the simplicity of Mehdis system on daily and 4 hr, not allways easy to see the woods for the trees

If it was not for the white block 78.842 I would have had a hard time to find the bid line

Would have seriously look to trade
and yes i would have taken the trade at 08H00 as an buy
take the trade with reduce lot size ( mentioned same where in post 1 to 7)
Entry at that time would be a touch and go trade
because
TDI is making a hook
Stoch is showing signs of going down
Chandel has a very long wick

Look at chart now and you would have made serious pips

on ur pic...the 1st arrow i understand but the 2nd one ...why did u enter there?
i though is always green and red cross and stoch is above 80 or near 50...

On entry at the close of the candle the stoch was at 80 and rising, daily trade so no 50 stoch,green has clearly crossed red on the open of the new candle, get in

Does anyone know how to or know anybody who could incorporate Phone Push Alerts for either Bounce or Cross conditions into the existing watchdog/tdi alerts indicators we use in this thread? I think this would help a lot of people who do not want to sit at a computer all day long.

I do a lot of work in front of a computer everyday, so I am in front of my PC quite a lot. Still I have work to do, so I can't check the markets the whole time. What I do is quite simple, but effective in my situation. I set all alerts to False for all indicators. I use a simple timer on my Cellphone. every 50-55 minutes I have an alarm. I quickly check the charts to see if there is any promising setups (noting those that do have possible setups). After identifying only those that are possible setups, I study them more closely. Looking at higher TF's, S/R levels etc.

This way I only check the charts every hour. If you trade 4H TF, you will only need to check every four hours. Alerts are of little value to me in this system as you can only trade after the candle closed, but you get multiple alerts in an hour.
