'Leave' Takes Shocking 19-Point Lead In Brexit Poll - "If It Happens, Gold Will Be The World's Strongest Currency"

The headlines go from bad to worse for the UK and EU establishment as yet another new poll this weekend, by Opinium, shows "Brexit" leading by a remarkable 19 points (52% chose to leave the EU against 33% choosing to keep the status quo). This result comes after 2 polls Friday night showing a 10-point lead for "leave" which sparked anxiety across markets. This surge in "leave" probability comes despite an additional 1.5 million voters having registered this week (which many expected to increase "remain" support). Further anger towards EU was exposed when former cabinet minister Iain Duncan Smith warned that seven new prisons will need to be built in the UK by 2030 to cope with the rising number of migrant criminals (presumedly due to 'staying' in the EU). With market anxiety rising, as One River's CIO notes, if Brexit happens, gold will soar.

In the event of Brexit, some of the best trades would be to dump GBP/* pairs on every raise and add EUR/GBP on dips only . Also buy Gold/USD and GOLD/EUR (xau/usd and xau/eur) and sell EURO/USD along with buy USD/CAD on dips and sell AUD/USD on raise...

GBP on leave vote can fall 10-12% which would translate into far more on GJ. 147 is the near term target then 141 if the exit polls keep predicting clean sweep victory for brexit leavers..

I am also looking at weakness emerging in EURO packet with the likes of EUR AUD/EUR NZD which have room to fall going into the vote

Keep shorting GBP every 50-60pip rally and it gives pips till the actual voting day where in stay away

I would love to, but I have to be out by Friday close. 20th-24th GBP pairs leverage reduced from 500:1 to 25:1!!!

Which broker reduced the leverage, my brokerage is yet to email me though. They don't want anyone to make money if GBP pairs tank/rally 1000-2000pips such a shame.

I have designed an EA for Brexit which can be kept on GBP pairs with distance of your choice along with profit targets and it follow pure price action doesn't really speculate either way buy/sell..

Enclosed the price action trader EA for your reference . It can be used on any pair of your choice with the below parameters set. Make sure you have sufficient balance and check with your broker if they have any order restriction limit of 300 open orders or none..

I'm with Vipro Markets. I think most brokers will do something similar. Euro pairs are reduced to 100:1 which isn't too bad. I'm wondering about trading USDCHF next week - haven't looked at that for a long time. Any suggestions?
