DislikedPhew!! its was hell of a week with green pips,hope to drain the market next week,to all the new guys out there, always switch to higher TF by 2 times to see the bigger picture, just glance it , you might find something , talk to the higher TF chart and candle like a mad person, see the reply, respect some your fav moving averages , be it 10,60,144 or 200, if there very close to the price above/below pass the trade, you will get more chance,the market is here to stay ,the goal is for you to stay as long possible.patient is key if you are trading...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I personally have just tabs open with all the pairs I'm using, all of them with the same template. I just wait for alerts.Ignored
DislikedCould someone please advise on how they handle reviewing multiple currencies for this method - with profiles and tabs? For example I am currently learning this method with 3 tabs open, one for placing orders (it has cavemanager and news on it), 2nd tab for pipware MTF and 3rd tab with normal stoch/tdi/MAs on it to make trade/no trade decision. The problems are; 1) to change currencies you have to drag from the market watch list onto each tab - rather tedious if you have say 15 currencies to check 2) cavemanager stops working if you switch currencies...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I know what you mean. I use two indicators that indicate the weekly market open/close and then another for my waking trading hours (6am to 10pm). I notice for most that the pairs start to move and or change trend direction around 6am est. The weekly separator as a good visual starting point for marking weekly high/lows. {image} {file} {file} {file} {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I like to have several instances of MT4 open with different views, timeframes and methods, all that is required to switch between them is to click the button on the bar at the bottom of the screen, I'm sure there are a thousand ways to do this, For the sake of convenience I created a bunch of different icons to help identify which MT4 is which. Feel free to help yourself, they're here http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=440808 I'm interested to see what other people do for this,,,,,, trade well! {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} Gizzledonk, I never thought of opening multiple instances of MT4 to be honest - don't you need to setup a different broker account for each one or the signals would conflict? Maybe I could trade like this guy if I do that{image}

Disliked{quote} OK thanks Idolismo, I guess I need to try and condense my 3 tabs into 1 somehow. Do you use an EA to manage your trade on each tab?Ignored
Disliked{quote} The big problem with trading on higher time frames such as 4H and 1D is that people don't have patience and wants to get in on the very first signal without looking well if everything is in conjunction. On the other hand searching for TOO MUCH confirmation like more indicators gives only more stress and pulled you away from triggering. Try to find a balance in it. I am no exception!! Because of less signals on 4H and 1D people are going to find more signals on the lower ones. 1H is good with some fine tuning without changing too much of...Ignored
