Hello MathTrader7,

Do you have a good renko indicator or ea that converts an offline basket chart --> renko chart or basket EA that automatically converts to renko charts? Have tried many renko EAs and indicator available for free in this forum and even in this thread refer attchment bellow, the RenkoMeanLiveChart_v1.0.ex4 just print new bars downwards every tick or every movement of the chart. The other one rencko Scalper Wicks EA.ex4 print exactly a good renko chart the problem is the accuracy of it. I made a test to keep it running when I sleep and when I wake up I refresh the Renko EA and viola it produce more bars than the actual when I woke up. I put the graph side by side to easier understand it.

Please share if you have a renko that prints permanently the bars from an offline basket chart or if you can recode the renko attached that would be good. thank you

Hello ilovePA,

In the absence of ticks, what we can do the best is to use the open and close quotes of M1 charts to write a basket Renko builder EA. Another solution is to use VPS and run a Renko builder EA on live ticks.

Has anyone got decent results from this? i am trying it on demo but so far it's not much to really talk about, so anyone having positive experience with Renko?

I use you non-gap renko builder but when i try to add the renko divergence EA to a renko chart generated by your renko builder it keep asking for the use of a non-gap renko chart...

What am i doing wrong ?

there must be a bug in the detection of non-gap Renko charts in the EA. I will fix this in the next version.

OK, check ATR 14 one minute EURUSD :
betweem 10 and 30 pips.
then use ts =30 or more if want to have more reliable backtest results.
Or just put it on demo.

Do you mean the next version of the Divergence EA or the Non-Gap Renko EA?

For the next version of the Non-Gap Renko EA, I would love it if the EA can save in coming ticks in a folder and apply it to future calculations, that would eliminate all issues of Renko Repainting.
As it is it's still the best available.
Let it turn and find your entry.

Mathstrader7,

a random thought and my apology if this idea has surfaced previously, nevertheless to seek for yours and all others' suggestions.
I have chanced upon the attached CCI candle indicator and attached to your non gap renko chart.

I have attached a chart for your illustration;
Added 21EMA high and low as the trend filter.
CCI candles are colored in Blue (Bull) and Pink( Bear).

If you think that its workable, I will appreciate your effort for an EA as follows:

For buy trades:

1. Renko brick closed above 21EMA (High)
2.) Trigger Buy on 1st CCI Candle(Blue).
3.) Exit at immediate White Renko brick.
4.) Trend following, If Renko brick is still above 21EMA , trigger buy for next CCI candle (Blue).
5.) Exit at next White Renko brick.


For Sell trades.
1.) Renko brick closed below 21EMA
2.) Trigger Sell on 1st CCI Candle( Pink)
3.) Exit at immediate Green Renko brick.
4.) If Renko brick in still below 21EMA, trigger sell on next CCI candle(Pink).
5.) Exit at the next Green Renko brick.

* Will be good to have
-Trailing mechanism
- Enable/ Disable trade ( will be good during sideways market)
-Time filter

Pardon me as I could not provide further analysis as this is all primarily . I am currently testing it manually with the help of an alert to prompt for the new Renko brick and i will check for the CCI indication to confirm on the conditions before the execution of trades.
I hope for further suggestions and advice . Cheers !

Hello Mathtrader7,

I tried to use MathTrader7_RenkoStreetEA_1.7 on DAX renko chart, but after 2 days it didn't open any trade.
Is problem that DAX is only 1 digit with my broker? Because EA didn't log any error or message in Experts log.

I'm trying this EA on DAX (1 digit) and when new trade should be opened it write this error in log:
