It went 30 pips up but I was doing some gardening and when I checked, I was too late. I hope doing a video hasn't cursed it, lol.

So there has been a retracement. I have cut back on 50% of my positions.
The TDI is still up that is the green is still pointed up and crossing over RED. So I am going to hang and see if there is further retracement below the previous candle low at 10 ema. In that case I am going to get out and take the loss.

First, I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread and of course medhi for bringing and posting it here. As someone who has been following the BIG E thread regarding the TDI for like 4 years, I really appreciate this offshoot of that currently convoluted thread.

Moonie: Thank you for sharing as well. A few quick questions:

Are there specific sessions that you are trading this system during?
What pairs do you mainly trade this on?
Are you using both methods outlined by the OP for entries?
Why not put a trailing stop once you hit 50 pips to extract more pips for bigger moves while protecting the 50 pip TP you originally require?

Hi Aftermath,

I cut my teeth on BIG E's thread, reading countless PDF's and page after page of posts. Lets hope Mehdi's off-shoot can bring great success. Here are some comments in response to your questions:

Sessions - I listen out for alerts from London open to NY close. Then for a couple of hours of the Asian session until I drop off to sleep.
Pairs - I put as many pairs as my computer will cope with. If there is a setup, I look at my brokers platform to see what the spread is before taking the trade.
Methods - I don't trade D1 or H4. I couldn't cope with the stops required for D1 and I didn't get enough setups on H4. I have settled on H1.
Trailing stop - I have tried this on demo with great success but it never seems to work live. Perhaps it could be done with bob44's EA on post 1769.

No worries Tonny,

The GU setup is indeed valid. The ECB Conference earlier put the EU on a dive which spiked down the GU. Hopefully you are still in as it looks like its trying to make a recovery.

Do I get this right that you completely ignore higher TFs and purely focus on the H1 price action to find your setups?
And how many trades do you get usually in a monday-friday circle o.r. do you trade at fridays at all?

Thanks great video moonie. May be a question for fulltilt but do you know what the difference is between the two ATR lines on your chart mate ie the white and purple ones..
