Hey folks,
first of all big thanks to mehdi who came up with this adjustment of the TMS style.
I was familiar with the usual TMS style from the other threads but it kinda clutched with my usual trading style which is a trend reversal strat on the M5/M15 TF.
I didnt befriend myself to much with the TMS style but because its a price action system it had my attention.
After finding this thread a week ago i backtested and forward tested it a bit with the conclusion that i cant trade on the D1 TF because for some reason i cant hold a trade longer than 2 days max.
The H4 was kinda the same so i decided to adopt the style from merrygold, Moonie and some others (sry cant remember all names ) and search for entrys on the H1 and aim for 50 pips (500 points) with 1:1 ratio.
After 3 days of live testing i must say it feels a little holy grailish to be honest.
I cant really believe its THAT easy.
All I do is MTF analysis of 18 pairs with the lowest spread and when all comes together wait for an entry in H1 by method 1 or 2 like its written in post #1
So far i made 21 trades.
5 losing trades with -50 pips
8 break even trades with 0-5 pips
8 winners with +50 pips
For me this is huge because i made some minor mistakes in the management of the trades.
A good half of the 8 BE trades were over 30 pips in the + so i think i will try to emplement this EA postet 2 or 3 pages behind that takes profit by preset levels.
In general half of those trades were "ok" setups that could have been better, but unfortunately i couldnt sit on my hands like i should have
This system feels like pure magic in some way.
Im very confident, that i can sharpen my eye much more to find more of the good entrys and less bad ones.
Its not so easy to only take AAA+ setups even if you know its better. You guys know what i mean
So far my "rules" are:
- search matching D1/H4 trends like merrygold described (thx for your template bro) and note those pairs down
- look those pairs up every hour in H1 if a method 1 or 2 setup appears
- avoid red news
- respect ema 200 proximity in H1/H4/D1
- kinda respect obvious SR levels but this wouldnt stop me if the rest is fine maybe just smaller lotsize
And thats it. Its really that simple and thats what scares me a bit.
I will test this system with small lots in my live account for some time now and if i find some traps or obvious things to improve you guys will hear it from me.
