I think your results are fantastic and at this rate your coffee must be expensive LOL.
Anyway if you don't mind quick question what session do you normally trade?
Just guessing but in Singapore would think Asian or London
Or seeing your background maybe the New York?

1) Weren't Algos/HFT responsible for the "Flash Crash" ?
2) Why trading with no leverage?
3) Which timeframes are you trading/analyzing?

haha, im setting aside most of the money for baby's college.. with regards to your question, i prefer uk/us sessions however i still do trade asian sessions, depending on data release for the day and should unforseen news develope.

pip value is still the same (aprox $1 USD). only thing different is margin requirement. thats why from earlier on, from me using 7 brokers, im now down to one. all because to meet pop broker's capital requirement.

with regards to your questions

1) yes. but at that time HFTs wern't fully rolled out onto major bank's FX dealing desk. only after was the power of HFT recognized and introduced
2) - for my safety as well as the broker's. i'm not tapping on their assets, neither are they on mine. simply put, my way of risk management. (say snb incident happened again, and i was caught on the wrong side. i can hedge and come out unscathed)
- as stated in post #1, im trading mainly for my coffee money and any extra for my baby's college. so given that i've met the pop broker's capital requirement. leverage isnt required imo.
3) D1 for analysis to get a bias, m1 for execution. throughout the day cross reference banks money flow and volatility indexes
