4 years are nothing imo...after 4 years training you're an over-average athlete in most sports (depends on talent, will and how hard you've worked) but you can't compete with the best. I think the same applies to trading...so I will never listen to quitters since I know it can be done!

I respect the different opinions and beliefs in here but i disagree. I've been trading for 5 years and the last 2 i do make a good consistent profit out of forex specifically binary options. I do it full time and it's my job and my living the past 2 years. So if i am doing it then it can be done.

Making big money out of small money = loser.
Making small money out of big money = winner.

All traders that loose blame it on everything except them self.

There are plenty of traders making money just take a look on myfx book (verified accounts only).

Do brokers influence a nations economy?
Are brokers responsible for monetary and fiscal policies?

The charts are just pictorial representations of the market which are based on supply and demand. Supply and demand depend on economics.

Trade in line with fundamentals using the charts as entry points and you cant go wrong.

Dont place sl in predictable places.
Tp earlier than later.

All retail traders have the same info use the same indicators use the same RR ratios listen to the same annalists ect... This is why they loose.

Looks like a thread full of sore loosers that failed at Forex and gave up and because they have failed they think that everyone else is going to fail like they did. I honestly would hate to be in OP's shoes, i have come accross alot of people like OP in the short years i have been here on Earth and those people are the people that live average lives, never getting to know whats on the other side of fear and failure, I bet when he was also trying out forex he did not fully commit to it because his mind was always telling him to play safe so instead of submurging himself fully in he went in Knee Deep, Guys like you get crushed in life and never get back up but the ones that win in life are not the ones that dont get crushed because we all get crushed but they are the ones that get crushed and cry for a couple of seconds and then get right back up everytime.
I am what Many Dream to be but only a few can achieve, im a part of the 1%

In two formats: A simple indicator for manual trading and EA for automatic trading.

So why the thread? You're already beaten, a failure in this business, so you want to impress on others that because you failed, so will they.

Anyone who knows me will know how much I despise this kind of post, and the only reason I bothered to reply to it is that I feel that, for the good of the less experienced among us, such nonsense needs challenging.

Good, stay away from forex, it will be better for you and everyone else if you do, and I'm sorry to sound so harsh, but if you come onto this forum to make such assertions, then you have to be prepared to be challenged, just as I always am when I put my point of view across.

Of course it's not easy: it's a very competitive environment, there is no junior league there - we are playing agains the profis. And we need to always remember about this.
But! In order to success we need to understand where is our edge as retail traders. I believe that you can really specialize yourself, find some specific niches on the market and more or less constantly make a profit out of it.

Oh dear here we go with another doom and gloom thread from yet another loser attempting to put us all in the same category while we sit here with tongue in cheek knowing the reality is far different. Then onto the band wagon jumps a host of other losers shouting 'right on' buddy.

If you don't like to trade or are not very good at it then the choice is simple for you... Go away and work in a burger joint and we will all be the better for it.

Sure people lose all the time else I wouldn't be winning so I would implore all you losers to keep trading for my sake. People like to blame the banks, brokers or whatever but actually it is my fault for being better at it than you losers are.

If it takes you the best part of a decade to become profitable then I suggest you have wasted a lot of time and effort and you have not been studying the charts properly in regards to working out how the money flows like poetry in motion.

There are countless reasons why people fail but there are only a handful of reasons why people succeed.

I have been teaching people to trade for many years so I have heaps of experience but no matter what I tell students they still lose (thank goodness for me). That is not to say I give them false information they just don't have a clue how to use it. Invariably they always 'think' trades totally disregarding the evidence and hang in there far too long on a wing and a prayer that things will come good.

Anyway thumbs up for the winners and pass the tissues to the losers.

My first experience into the FX world started back in 2006, I have not stop believing nor give up in forex, until finally after 10 years, I am finally seeing a little success, whether it's sustainable, no one knows, but at least for now, it does.

To all people who are on this path, do not give up hope, you only fail once you give up.

You guys all make me laugh!! Maybe someday all of you, or hopefully most of you will see that there's not light at the end of this tunnel..!!
There's only one guy who replied that made any sense...his user name was Luther ( I think)...but his post vanished?..if any of you caught that post , you'll know what i'm talking about.
So...lets see.......there's roughly a dozen replies or so, that are convinced that Retail Forex is do-able, if you don't give up. So...that means that according to the stats, maybe one or none of you will get anywhere. Really?.... You really want to spend that much time and effort,( and when I say time and effort,I mean lots and lots and lots), to try and beat something that has a 99.9% to 100% failure rate. Like that Luther fellow said>>>You're wasting your time with those MT4 retail forex bucket shops...you want to become a real trader , you need to go pro , and work for those Big Financial Institutions..And they mostly draw there greenhorns from colleges or universities.

My point is this: You will never get anywhere in Retail Forex...and if by some very remote chance you become successful, after what...6 years or 20 years.. I will have made more money than you, working at Macdonald's ...LOL..
