It hits 5 candles, and only has one piercing of it. I would agree if there was a body above the line, but I would use it as a trend line myself. You can't be too rigid about this, I cannot tell you the number of times I was talked out of a trade by this. Also, it is clearly in a downtrend anyway - I would be comfortable shorting based upon it....

I find this chart interesting. We are going into Non-Farm Friday, and oil had been pulling back. The Mexican peso is a currency that is highly sensitive to oil as there are a lot of oil rigs in that country and the Gulf of Mexico. The pair has been in a large uptrend for some time now, and I think that the market is at an inflection point. The 18 handle has been resistance lately, and we formed a hammer for Thursday. (We also have the 200 day EMA just below, that has already offered support recently.) Is the market leaning in one direction? A lot of times it will before these announcements. Above 18, this could be a longer-term trade. This will also be boosted by oil falling.

USD/SEK: We have broken below the bottom of a massive rectangle in the Swedish Krona. The market has come back to the area, and with the NFP coming out today - this could be the catalyst for a return to selling. Also, we have the 50 and 100 EMAs crossing below the 200 EMA, so the overall trend appears to be changing. Also, we are testing a cluster of noise around the 8.10 level. I will be watching this one...

Checking out this one today, with oil inventory numbers coming, could be a mover. On a break of the lows for the daily candle - meaning once it closes - I am a selling to the 1.25ish area.

Natural Gas (CFD) looks like it is at an important area. We have been in a relatively stable uptrend channel, and we are resting on the bottom of the channel. I have the 200 ema plotted, and the $2 level which of course is a psychological barrier. The breaking below of that level and the channel has me selling....

This is a chart that could be very interesting for the summer. I think that The Dragon is about to break out, and this is probably being driven by the possibility that the UK stays in the EU. (Fools.) However, that's what the bankers want, so it will more than likely drive the Pound higher. I have a 'neckline' drawn on the chart for an inverse head and shoulders, but I think the 164 level is where we break through the last of the resistance???

Gotta love the Brexit. So Pound is falling, and we break below a trend line. Nice place for a short....

Ended up taking 100 pip gain, we are getting noise just below, and the Pound is moving on headlines more than anything else.
