MT4 on a Chromebook?

Has anyone been able to install and run MT4 on a chromebook ? I know you can sideload Java applications but not sure if the program would be affected . No straight answers out their on Google.

I am travelling overseas in the near future and required a tablet or small note book so that I could access my MT4 charts and the MT4 editor to process any website requests while on holiday and found that most tablets and smaller note books etc ran either a useless version of windows (RT) or an apps based setup like Android so were not capable of the task, I settled on the latest Microsoft Surface 3 128g ( not the Surface Pro3 ) with the full Windows 8.1 which allows me to load anything on it that my Desktop can use, so now I have effectively a small very light weight laptop (10.1" screen ) or if I disconnect the keyboard a tablet.

Hey cja, appreciate the reply and the information. I'm actually migrating away from the Windows environment and looking at alternatives. Android phone and an iPad for work both have MT4 but they are limited versions.

Exactly, that is the problem the limited versions ( iPad and Android apps ) they do not allow me to work with the MT4 like a desktop setup with the full MT4 which as I said earlier the Microsoft Surface 3 does and it is the only ( solid state ) setup in tablet form that I could find that didn't cost a fortune and was capable of running a full Windows 8.1 operating system .
