Found some info by doing a google search and it appears to be a rule that a guy made up. Here is a piece of info describing it but it does not make easy reading so I have highlighted the part thattells us what the rule does.

THE GEO:
An alternative geometry arises from the "Geo", with "Tunneling" and "Geo Anchor" requirements being met. A decline to the foreground Model-defined targets would allow the Geo0.03% to attain a 5-prime or 5-second adverse excursion relative to the WW's 1-3 Line, in which case, the OffSet Rule would apply and this target a reversal to the price level of Point-4, and not the 1-4 Line as the WW would have it (the former representing the highest probability attainment from a 5-prime position, or to the price level corresponding to Point-3 if reversing from a 5-second locus - i.e.: OffSet Rule of the Geo0.03% ).

Thanks for a really awesome thread guys. I have been following it for a while and cautiously looking for these in my own trading too.

Quick question, would you like to see only Forex charts or is it ok to also post setups spotted in futures?

I missed it, because I've been concentrating on daily bars. I think I need to drop down to H4,
so I don't miss trades like this.

I guess that is probably a question for Profitkeeper to answer but as far as I am concerned I wouldn't mind seeing them in any charts, futures or otherwise. It would just reinforce how common and profitable these patterns can be.

I was wondering how you draw your 1 to 5 line, it seems in this instance to be off the candle body at point 1 and not quite sure where at point 3. The lines I've drawn look a bit different.

The line isn't perfect - I suppose it would be an early entry, if based on the wicks. But, the Wolfe Wave spirit is there,
and I liked the price action, especially in light of the pinbar. I tend to be pretty strict with the pattern, but every now and then, I will use discretion. I'm trailing the position, so no matter what, I'll get a piece of the pie. If price goes back down to the 1-3-5 line and bounces, I will put in another long trade.

Futures are fine with me, as a matter of fact some brokers like Oanda include futures CFDs. By the way Oanda just announced that they are reducing their maximum spreads.

OK, you and ChicagoRob are in an interesting spot. If you look at the charts you posted, they are actually megaphone patterns - not wedges. I have no objection to that, and one of the first PDF's (Linda's) actually had a couple of those patterns, although I can find no mention of them in the descriptions available. As for point 5 falling short, I'm not so sure. But hey, some of the first WW I posted were definitely not purist and they worked. I guess just use extra caution, but the pin bar helped in this pattern.

I found GBPNZD DAILY setup.

Blue zone is where to look for weakness and take profit.

Always good to see new contributors. Seems like a reluctant WW you show there. You have more patience than I do, but it looks like it may make it to the target area.

Thank you Profitkeeper! I've been lurking this thread for months, researching youtube videos and demoing, and i find it amazing how simple yet powerfull WW are!

It has given me inspiration to start trading again.

I thought I'd have a quick look at a 5 min DOW chart and just found this one. Not a wedge but a megaphone pattern, be interesting to see if it completes. As an aside, ideally I like to see divergence between points 3 & 5 suggesting possible exhaustion, not present in this example however.
