Ended up with a momentum entry on AU. Not so much a fan of these as it's trickier to place the stop.

Pretty topsy turvy day... made an absolute dog's dinner out of the GBPNZD. Every so often i still have one of these where I seem to be battling it and willing it to work and working my balls off rather than in hindsight taking one easy trade on H4 PA. Hoping i'll grow out of it.

Nice trades here Dave.. Shit I forgot to even have ECAD lined up on the trading terminal!

The daily action is textbook S&D zones. Quality stuff.

I think GBPNZD looks a bit of a tricky one. I had lower grey line as buy area with daily demand in play. Now we're kind of sandwiched between daily zones with new bullish H4 PA.

I like the longs but not sure I'm great on the risk at this area. Also GBP looks particularly bearish atm.

GCAD was interesting but never got my entry. Should have slapped some limits on that daily demand...

That H4 PA that came in is sitting bang on 50% retracement of the last swing up on H4 from the origin and i've learnt that the GBP has a real love of hitting that 50% retrace before stepping in with strong PA. I know that's true of GU anyway so i'm assuming it is true for GN.

Yeah I think it looks ripe for a longer term move up this pair. Also it's just broken a long 12 month downtrend with solid daily demand.

I can remember when that big spike at the top formed last year. Think I actually took losses trying to get into a short and gave up....

true true. also today closed as bull engulf. big news for NZD this evening tho so will see how it looks in the morning
