hello pres 78...its been awhile.....i see you be slaying the market.....anyway....i pulled the trigger on ucad...i have a question.....what is the logic behind using the zone..........would you say this region...created was where most auction happened yesterday...hence market has memory....by that the institutional traders might continue from there today......i love to trade understanding the logic behind a trade....i do like to hear you view....

​The logic is volume at volume (and the fact that it works over and over). The SM will be active again tomorrow where they were active the day before. Why? Memory, sort of but not quite. It's simply unfilled orders in a high activity location. Check out the PA after that zone yesterday printed... Support at 50%, Resistance at the H and then final support again at 50% before the push up. You need to add the 50%... The real move happened at NYO. Many traders would have seen NYO as a sellers bar and then there are the BO traders ready to short the L of the day. Also previously we had sellers sell the false BO double top right before LO (also weak long who bought the BO which failed and got stopped out. It all equals feul for the fire.

Thanks pres..i sold e/j.....i missed the buy which is from another similar concept as i was asleep....i have been working on wave structure,market micro-structure,volume,vsa,whyckoff......this VZA...seems to compliment what i have been working on....

Just went short on EURUSD. 15 min ND. Scalping TVZ from M to L and then see...

I took the long off a 1m NS initially and was stopped out but entered for a higher probability trade once the 5m NS appeared (in fact two of them back to back right at the zone high).

Demo trade. I took this one. I know that I'm always terrible at reading PA. I supposed HH, LL but it was just a retrace with no real selling at which bar rejected. Should've see that. Please anyone share how you look. ​

What is the green zone? You were below the M of the yellow zone but above the L of the green... Even for a scalp trade within the yellow you should have waited for a break and test into the green zone L.

​Looking at this further on my charts (didn't trade GBPUSD today) I would have never been looking to short based on YVZ and TVZ's (as they printed).

Trades worked out nicely and turned into a runner. There were several changes to get short on EURUSD today across the various TF's.

The GBP pairs were monsters today. I hope other grabbed some pips off GBPAUD, GBPCHF, GBPJPY or GBPNZD today. GBPCAD and GBPUSD not quite as nice and affected by news.

Or how about GOLD... lovely 1hr pres78 2BR type 1 right at LO and right into YVZL. Awesome. It was a great day to trade with tons of opportunities to be had. Wait for the cleanest looking set-ups, avoid the messy looking ones and take your pips!

I see. The blue zone is the zone from the day before yesterday and I always place the most weight on YVZ. If I had drawn TVZ, I wouldn't have done either
So when should I draw TVZ? I remember that you said at post 389 that only use TVZ if the PA is far away from YVZ. http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...vz#post8690659

Crude saw quite the sellers reaction from the Friday zone M. Then a bounce from what was TVZ (3rd hour of London session) and now back up testing the Friday / today zone L (10 pips apart roughly).
Today's zone = Tomorrow's opportunity!

Check out that lovely PA between the zones. Really nicely seen on the 5 min. A series of up/down PA as the bears filled their sells and absorbed / removed demand. We saw a LL, LH, LL, LH series print between the zones and then a push lower. All in Oil current PA seems to be showing continued weakness.

​Not today. I find Monday's can be bad. Plus with the upcoming Fed news on Wednesday we may seem some stall and ranging till then... USD pairs especially. A bit of USD news tomorrow may fuel some small moves but Wednesday will be the key driver for USD crosses. A little CAD news and speeches tomorrow may move the CAD pairs a bit.

EURGBP did offer chances to get short at LO into the Friday zone M but I decided to skip any trades.

​Crude is going to want to retest the 41.62ish to 40.30ish zone before we see any higher prices. This is the H to M of the Monday April 18th bar which printed after the Doha weekend bust.

i struggle on Mondays alot......might start skipping Mondays.........
