I'm currently trading with TickMill and Darwinex. Can vouch for both. Tickmill has better spreads and is more flexible with deposits/withdrawals. Darwinex has the best regulations and all the other things are good as well.

I dont pay attention to the specific numbers but you can check it with the spreads comparison page on myfxbook. But Ive been with Hotforex, Pepperstone and ICMarkets and I can tell that the total trading cost (commission + spreads) of both Tickmill and Darwinex is better than the before mentioned 3 brokers. Im a day trader so I dont care much about swap rates so I cannot comment on this.
I have nothing to complain about Hotforex, PPstone and ICmarkets. They are good brokers too IMO. The reason for the switch is that I prefer the lower trading cost that Tickmill offers and the Darwina program of Darwinex.

I must say all regulated brokers are good if you are satisfied with them . Just your trading skill is main thing that wins every where even in bad market conditions your risk management pays good results. Try to improve trading not change broker every day.

Do either of these offer negative balance protection? I am currently on demo with Pepperstone and they just confirmed they do not offer NBP (I think they used to, but definitely not now) so that puts me off going live with Pepperstone .
What do you, guys, think of FxPro and Alpari? They both seem pretty good too me but I just want to know which one would you choose as the best one, at least among these two?

Unfortunately it's really hard to recommend any broker that is located in USA, because their trading costs are too big or they provide Market Maker model or brokers was fined for cheating clients.
