Range Bars and Price Action

hello

is there anyone who uses PA on Range Bars charts? I created a nice strategy based on PA (HH, HL, LL, LH, ABCD and other price patterns), but I would like to filter out some of the false signals, as sometimes PA is not enough for me and I would like to have a greater certainty before opening a trade

are there any good indicators based on PA? I'm looking for something really accurate it really doesn't matter what it will be - SR levels, SD zones, trend bars, oscillator, MA or something else...

entry rules:

- overbought or oversold zone
- trend reversal pattern (hammer, shooting star, etc.)

SL=10 pips, TP=10 pips, BE+2 after 5 pips profit

Cool, another range bars trader.
I have similar strategy, and I focus mainly on pullbacks. I found the inspiration in the Lance Begg's scalping books a few years ago, and though I do not follow them any longer, they guided me to a combination of range bars and the Keltner.
My main chart looks very simple, there is a "guard" path (the Keltner channel), which detects both - bias and wholesale areas. The main point of the strategy is buying pullbacks in the lower half of the Keltner and selling in the higher half (and vice versa), and get a warning if the price runs out of the channel.

It is the 124 point range as the control reads. However I do not have it constant - I fix it every morning until the slow channel (135/2.2) looks balanced. The fast channel applies only in trending market. No counter-trend trading within the fast channel.
If the entire candle goes out of the slow channel (like the EURUSD now), I trade it like a break-out (I have to reverse the position, if there is any). Otherwise I would wait for chart to form a simple reversal pattern near the central line. I may use up to two positions in the same direction (same size).

thanks for your reply I'm trying to find something like Slope Direction Line, but more accurate I just wanna trade with trend - PA allows me to do this, but these false signals cause sometimes stupid losses and I would like to avoid them

Yes, trading with the trend is fine, but I'd get bored when the market goes sideways. Trading the non-trending market makes low profit, but keeps me awake.
