Looking for further opportunities to put more long vol setups on. Don't want to go all crazy wild at once, naturally .... .

I'm not liking what's on the menu for premium selling ... . I can only put on so much EWZ. And the "el primo" earnings are about two weeks away. Oh, well, nothing wrong with handsitting.

a $12 spread for 25c? Crazy enough for ya? That's $25 risked to net max $1170 m/l...now til Sept to catch a vol pop....we'll see where it fills tomorrow.

P/L for the wide vert shown above at June opex - you could score 10x in Jun with a pop to $55 - take some off and see what else comes down the pipe

Refreshing PA today...

(I have shorted BABA @ $77.97 and took profit at $77.22 for half a position... because there was low from yesterday and now I wonder why the f...k I didn't just close all and forget about that... but staying positive is a good thing, I expect it to go around 77.60 and then to make a lower low. SL@BE for the other half.)

I am going to check that, and I bought a few of /ES Apr08 2025/2020 bear put spreads, for $1.10 debit.

Sold May 20th SPX 1940/1945 short put vertical on this weakness to complete a 1940/1945/2120/2125 iron condor.

Covered my VXX Sept 16th 13/May 6th 17.5 short call diagonal on this little pop here, freeing up the buying power for another go if it gets back to sub-17. I bought the setup for 3.73/contract and was out today for a 4.19 credit, so made .43/contract, which I will take for the six days I had the setup on. Contango, after all, helps your short call, but also eats away at the long, so I figured bailing as soon as you have a chance is best ... .

Yep. Patience with VIX/VIX products is always key ... . Plus, I just don't have the 'nads to "play the middle."

still a sideways market....1,800 to 2,100 give/take...forever and ever....too much easy money to crash and not enough greed at the top to push into new highs.....fear the Fed/don't fight the Fed.....CB's to the rescue/CB's fucking things up.....sideways markets need credit spreads out on the range ends, some sharpshooting here and there, but they are generally tough to trade. I have a whole lotta directional trades bleeding in my books, but many have lotsa time, so I laugh, hahahaha, but inside, I'm sad....

AAPL Apr/May calendar doing what it supposed to do - options ivs rising into the ER in Apr5 week, but I need AAPL to rally up to $112+ next week...paid 28c, AAPL to $112+ would probably net me $1.00 or more....need the botrun market to pick a f'in direction and stay with it...

.....spoos maybe close down 20, maybe less, flattish week, good weather for watching theta help your credit spreads, or bleed your debit spreads, anyway, just so sick of sideways market, how many years must I endure this boredom?
