Hi Gator,

do you still consider 1.5 as a target, at current levels?

I see a possibility of a reverse up now, form 1.4177, but if it closes day below 1.4160 - 70, it might continue down. Did you mean 1.5 as a short scenario target or you consider possibility of 1.39xx before you aim for 1.5?

yes, target valid w/o a LL.. i have about a 300 pip window under 4135. at 4135 with a 300 pi stop.. your trade size should not be larger than the % u want to risk. meanwhile above 4135 that 300 pip grows.. closer to the low is the better r/r with a equal risk %..

in other words just above that low is the better trade.. you can risk pennies to make dollars.. the further away, the more risk for a smaller reward.

if i am wrong about that low holding at risking 10 pips,, i will be wrong about that low holding risking 300.. one of these lose less pips. it just up to the individual to wait for the boring side of trading.

Thanks for the info. Actually I trade in real market only and dont use forex brokers after Alpari bust my account last year (got the money back now). So I make up with my own money for the leverage. I would be most interested in GU making an up rally to 1.5 anytime soon, even if it had a slump down of a couple of hundred pips before that.

mixed results. in my thinking eu rise and uj drop. eu on the bear side but above the um for 1.2470..that's kinda a toss up alone. using the uj as a guide it leans eu more bullish.. in the past on the eu drop from 399x. the strong drop had most month candles, closing below the previous month's low. this month's candle closed above the previous month's high. its also a quarter close.. it dont look bearish to me. closes like that are strong indicators of future

consider the china yuan? or mexican peso? looking to long usd against c yuan here

Do you think that Yuan could be potentially interesting due to enclosing it to SDR basket by the IMF in October 2016? I have heard, that it may end the USD era as the main reserve currency - but I dont know if it is possible soon.

For the past year Yuan was losing value vs USD. You expect this to change any time soon, due to Yuan entering SDR in October?

As for Peso I have no idea about it.

What I am counting for is that there will be no Brexit (I currently reside in UK) and GBP will fly up (unwind after recent falls).

dollar has a good interest/swap rate versus pesso
i just look at charts. u/c looks to be going there. i didnt short it. but i would like to short the yuan,, and i can't short it with a open lower u/c target.. i want to long the usd/yuan later, after target is reached
